fantastic video. The trail goes right past my house as you go onto the first bit of trail and planning to try this year. Only started running recently and currently 120kgs, so might be a bit pie in the sky but that's the plan! Lots of training to do but been inspired by all you gear and training tips.

Glad you enjoyed the Hurtwood Lloyd! These are my local trails that I am lucky enough to train on all the time. ❤ I did the 50k too, my first ever ultra - it wasn’t fast or pretty, but I got it done! And I was totally blown away by how friendly the marshals and other runners were too - so supportive! I’m definitely coming back for more! 😁🏃🏼‍♀️

@@Run4Adventure hopefully next year will do it. Currently have a broken metatarsal. So no running for me at the moment. I am not sure if I will be running Brighton marathon. Hopefully I will still be able to my first Endure24 next Reading. Solo as well. I want to do 100k.

Nice one again Loyd & Liga. I love the vibe and organisation of Freedom Racing and really miss Tom and the Team (and the flapjack) when they put on the Highground Dartmoor marathon. The race looked so great, really friendly as always amongst the runners and nice to watch on a morning with a coffee 😊 And yes, Marshalls are amazing and I always try to thank every one. ❤

Great to see you both, love the video, and yes the volunteers were absolute legends! Some of the footsteps in the muddy section were mine, it didn't look like the bank path would continue long enough, thankfully the water flowing down cleaned the shoes up nicely hah! Next up North Downs Ridge 50 and then the South West Traverse 😬

Thanks James, glad you enjoyed the video. No worries about the shout out and well done for running through the mud! 😊 I use the Gopro media mod, it's got a small built in shot gun mic and the audio is brilliant. Unfortunately when your using it, your Gopro isn't waterproof anymore so you have to be careful when it rains. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 🙏😊

I was running with sciatica, then 4 days b4 the beachy head marathon i sneezed in bed, the pain was intense, ive now not run for 6 weeks. I apparently have a bulging disc. A video on stretches for it would be great.

Sorry to hear that Tomas! 😕 Sciatica issues can be pretty bad, I've suffered with them on and off for years so I feel your pain. I would suggest having a look at flossing, it really helps me when mine gets bad. Hole this helps and thanks for watching 🙏😊
