Can I just say, hats off to Ethari. He didn’t even have to look at the sword’s reflection to know that this Runaan. This man has been without his husband for almost three years, and he was still able to recognize it was Runaan just by his voice. And knowing this only makes their reunion that much more special and meaningful.

After two long years, Runaan and Ethari are reunited, thanks to Callum, and Rayla. I'm happy for the elf husbands to be together again. This one makes me warmly smile and feel their love and joy in my heart. Runaan did make Ethari a promise to come home to him and return his heart to him, and so he did. A promise kept. An embrace, a kiss and a hug. In his workshop, Ethari is heartbroken and lonely until he feels Runaan's presence, and touch. He is overjoyed as he says "my heart." Yes, his heart has returned and healed. Wounds of the past like broken hearts are mended. I have waited a long time for this after all these months. A heartwarming reunion. And Rayla is lucky to have them as her wonderful fathers after her parents left to rest in peace in the afterlife. They are her family after all.
