Fact: Tatsumi didn't die, but Esdeath yes, Tatsumi in the his armour body like a monster, because he used full power to defeat the #1 emperor destroyer, and Mine too didn't die, expect Mine, Tatsumi, Akame, Boss, all Night Raide died, Boss became the emperor the new kingdom, Akame still work a hunter, Tatsumi and Mine lived in a mini village and live a happy(Spoilers from manga)
