Only Tello 2 will be better, a Tello with 1080p/60fps resolution with SD card and GPS would destroy the market but dji don't want it because they send the mavic mini

I think the Tello is a huge piece of crap after owning it for a few days. The software (not optional) sucks ass and constantly disconnect, the only good controller is available for Android only. If you have an iPhone forget about it.

Lol i have a tello that i got as a re- gift. There’s no practical use for a tello; my 50$ Chinese folding drone has 4x the battery life and both just use phone wifi anyway

I’ve got the black one, and the video quality is pretty damn good. I’ve used it on a drone and also on my helmet while riding my bike, the video is a little bit squished in from the sides, otherwise it’s okay. I’ve downloaded the GoPro editing app, and I’ll see how that goes as far as the video looks.

therustyaxe I think it’s a bad idea adding something onto a drone like the telly as it uses brushed motors and adding weight means more strain in the motors which means that the motors will burn out more quickly. That is what happened to my brushed motor drone.

The Tello flys very well with this camera on top. The only downside is flight time. With the extra weight, flight time is reduced.

CAPTAIN DRONE the extra weight will most likely most likely cause the motors to spin faster to hover so therefore it would burn the motors out quicker. That is what happened to my brushed motor drone. I added a small camera like that and then the motors burn out after 4 flights with that camera

Yes, it has digital image stabilization in 4K. It is not as good as the GoPro Hero 7 or DJI Osmo Action image stabilization.

This is quite interesting. I recently got a Yuneec Mantis Q which I believe has brushless motors. Because of it's lack of a gimbal, I was thinking of experimenting by attaching a Sony FDR-X3000 which has built in stabilization. Do you think it would be ok or would the added weight still hurt the motors?

Only in the FPV Hobby do drones use GOPRO cameras. That is a very different hobby than the Camera Drone hobby from companies like AUTEL, PARROT, YUNEEC, DJI.

The Runcam 5 Orange has EIS and two different microphone volume modes. FPV microphone is low and there is a normal mode.

Actually, FPV turns the microphone pretty much off (which is thankful) and normal mode is at the volume shown in this video.

Happens in many industries but, if the profit dropped big time then the main innovators would move on to producing some other product and leave the world of creating cutting edge drones.
