What I love about this dungeon is the theme of it. You aren't in a haunted house or ruins or fighting an empire anymore. The reason the monsters are so strong is because you, a human, are charging DIRECTLY into the Forest of Beginnings, the dimension monsters literally come from to rescue Venti.

I'm so sorry for younger me accidentally turning off the gaining of experience and skill points in rune prana and never finding out until my dad told me 2 years later. Little me was in despair because of this dungeon and GRINDING WOULDN'T WORK.

Finished the dungeon at level 224. My hardest room was that one part of the dungeon that I COULDN'T REACH TO KILL THE MONSTERS. So I ended up using elementals to kill them, took a year and a half but I did it. But I was happy to see all the old boss monsters from Rune Factory 1-3 in there, I had insane flashbacks of the Siren boss fight of how I was on the last day of winter in Rune Factory 1 and I kept on fainting. But that was when I was 12, so now I know there is gear to protect me from that. xD

Is that the Flare Mages room at the beginning? I pulled a Shedinja on them: Silent Ring and Prelude to Love combo. When made at a high level, Prelude to Love makes your max HP and RP 1, but you become immune to pretty much every elemental magic. They still have a non-elemental attack (the cloud spells) and that's an instakill at this state, but then you just be prepared to dodge them (much easier than the fireball spam). The ring doesn't just protect you against seal, it makes you cause it too, so you just shut them down with a spear or something. Then, once all of them are sealed you just spam any long-range attacks you have (and maybe take the ring off if you have a stronger accessory). It was fun.

Some of the shit this dungeon throws at you is ridiculous....Stuck on the room with the wind and falling rocks combo. WHY does this room even exist.....There were rooms like it all over the game but so far this room is just...stupid. It's like it wasn't thought out. Like someone just said "Hey lets take two of the most annoying obstacles in the game and crank them up without doing anything fun or unique.... Could've just had a puzzle. But no...stupid rock/wind room. Question: Are the falling rocks considered earth elemented? if so, could I find an earth monster and have them be healed by the rocks instead of damaged?

Try using an amethyst brooch plus armor with 20% or more Earth resistance to get a 100% Earth resistance. The falling rocks are Earth based, so at 100% resistance the damage becomes 0. if you take it any farther than that you start absorbing it instead.

I love this song so much but I hate this dungeon! I finally--finally!--beat Rune Prana after TWO YEARS of pain and suffering and frustration and "WTF!" But if there's a song to hear on loop ad nauseum from constant death and destruction, I'm glad it's this one :D

The strat is to go to Sharance maze and wander until you get a pretty chest with a good attack item. Or get lucky with a plant sword drop.

2 years? It took me like a week but then again I didn't do anything for the whole week just getting the event was a hassle and it took me a long while before I could tame Siren and Crystal Mammoth 2. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT

I can kinda get behind the first arc, since I'm rescuing other likable characters as well. But I'm going to beat the second arc one day, and then... difficulty spike! But I will do it! My goal for completing Sharance Maze/Rune Prana is to get that goddamn Caliburn and give it to Forte. XD

But at the same time venti is easily one of my favorite charecters. Shes actually a lot like me. Fun loving and wants to be friendly. But has a serious side.

as much as I LOVE this game... this dungeon was an absolute nightmare, specially the volcano area :')))) the rest of the levels were way easier, at least that was my experience. But the worst part was the ending of the arc, too plain and bland, I was expecting something more touching :(

To be honest, after the hell all these characters went through, such a simple and peaceful ending was probably the best for them. They didn't need to speak just how deep their emotions were, they understood each other perfectly.

at the end of the game. You find it after a random town event, once that events spawns and you complete it. You should have no problem finding it.

I think I beat Ragnarok at lvl 180-190. I spent a lot of time grinding for materials, so my Equipment was really overpowered for the difficulty I was on. I specifically fought Ragnarok on Hell mode, because I didn't want it to be too easy.
