066 - Ruko School 39 - Modular 565 assembly full version

This is the complete video of the ASSA Ruko Modular 565 Dead Bolt mortise lock. Do not take apart locks in use, unless you need to service it. This video might help you put it back together. Remember a failing lock in an emergency situation can be deadly.

Thank you. Tried to fix my lock and thing just exploded all over the floor. 😂 so happy found this video. That black spring was tricky to put back without ur mount. 😮‍💨

Thanks. Yes interesting to see the insides of locks. I also like to see the difference between locks from various countries. They all do the same basic things, but they have invented different ways to get it done

How often to you have to pull one apart as a Service, and what parts usually fail?

Those locks are so cheap, that repair is emergency only. The hubs are likely to fail, with bad alligned strikes, so unnatural force is applied to the parts. The video is also great for remembering attack points, when a lock fails in its locked stage, as I had to deal with yesterday afternoon

Jeg ser lige om jeg har en til 3 punkt på værkstedet, som jeg kan åbne og se ind i. Smid et par billeder til [e-mail], så ser jeg om jeg kan hjælpe. Ellers har de fleste byggemarkeder åbnet i påsken, så du kan købe en ny. Og til at starte med, så passer en normal 565 altså ind, så låsen den bare kun i midten. Top og bund er mere for vejr end sikkerhed
