I was in Taverly dungeon killing blue dragons when some other guy logged in or had world hopped. I was disassembling all the shit drops because I'm a pack rat that has to compulsively use everything when he said "Get away from my dragons". He proceeded to attack all three at once and after a short fight, all three used their breath attack simultaneously killing him. Silly saugsage had forget to sip his anti fire potions first :')

Back in 2015 or so, my alt account was hacked. When i logged in, it was at the frost dragon dungeon. I quickly realized that my 38m cashstack was gone...but there were 42m worth of frost dragon bones in my bank. So in the end I profited and also made sure to secure my accounts properly.

The most recent funny thing that's happened to me (that comes to mind) is I was camping dark beasts for a while for 99 ranged, and some guy runs up and quickchats "I have killed 8,000 Dark Beasts" and I quick chatted back "I have killed 11,000 Dark Beasts" and the guy just logged out. It felt like a power move

I can't remember the funniest moment but, I was doing a slayer task and I started talking to someone. He started talking about how he was cold. He went on to say his furnace wasn't working. So I told him to check a few things and we got it working over rs3. He said omg thank you, you saved me a lot of money so he gave me 6m worth of items. I was so happy that I started laughing. It was a great moment. I love this community 😁

Also one of the funniest things, theres so many ill just pick a random one, one of the funniest things ever was back then back in the day we were all fishing by barbairan village there was a ton of people (and a lot standing under eachother) and somone one would be like “My fishing level is: 37” “My fishing level is: 38” and everyone in a 5 mile radius was like “nice” “nice “ “nice” “nice “ “nice” “nice “ “nice” “nice “ lmfao you just see nice coming mostly from one spot and a bunch of people standing under them lmao and the chat has a bunch of names saying “nice” idk lol so funny to me, till this day. Last month my friend and I (both returning players) who are currently noobs decided to familiarize ourselves with the wildy since so much had changed. A lot of crazy shit happened during our deep wilderness adventure, we came in with nothing but left with a lot of souveniers. The funniest part of our journey was when we retaliated against this fully geared pker who had attacked us. We chased him with nothing but a golden pitchfork (my friend) and a steel hatchet (me) across the deep wildy. I don't know why he ran from us but we were hurling insults the entire time and it was one of my favorite runescape moments.

Oh another funny moment was during wilderness warbands. I logged into a camp and a big fc was there. One of their members had apparently died because there was some bones + food + the team cape of the fc on the ground. They were attacking people who weren't in their fc so I quickly picked up the cape and put it on and they didn't attack me lol. I had tricked them into thinking I was in their fc.

The Abyss, from what I've heard, gives you a 60 second buff, meaning if you use wicked hood teleports you can do two Astral runs with the same Abyss buff if you're fast. This makes astral runes competitive xp with blood runes. Grats again on the award!

I was in 4th or 5th grade (2004/2005) managed to get 2 girls in my class to play runescape. Got home super excited and wore my full adamant gold trimmed armor to meet them feeling super g. Unfortunatley they had no idea what it was and didnt comment on it. Got super bummed :(. Another time i remember i started a mini mining business where my friend and i would hire lower level players to mine iron and coal ore for us. Then we would make steel bars and sell it for profit. Runescape was the home of my first business enterprise virtual or real haha.

I don't know if you've covered this, but you can extend the timer of a BOB with a legendary pet with any other familiar. So on my ironman i use a war tort on my legendary to make it a bob, and then keep extending it with a spirit terrorbird which is much easier to get.

Funniest thing that happened to me was going to Nex for the first time with a friend. We were both new at pvm and for some reason though nex was a good place to start. Ended up healing her to 200k then getting a friend to hop in and solo blood phase for us.

My funniest moment in rs for me was that me and some friends were pking for fun on each other. And a random came up to us and asked what we were doing, we told him that we were killing eachother. He asked if he could join, and we said yes. 5 minutes later he comes back with full tectonic and a sliske's staff. We told him he shouldnt use that in the wildy, and he said dw and we fought. He won everytime over all of us and we just couldnt stop laughing at the fact that this dude never had heard of pking before.

As someone who hadn't played in 6 months I didn't even know about the cinderbane gloves. If they're that useful, I'll consider nabbing a pair. edit: Didn't know the action bar thing either! These have been really good tips for someone who quit for 6 months, and was never really a min/maxer at pve in the first place.

Funniest thing that ever happened to me ingame (RSN: Dwarvenyak): At my first time at Yakamaru, I was in voice chat with everyone and I accidentally Asphyxiated the pool and killed 80% of the team. I immediately realised what I had done, but tried to join in the complaining on voice chat, pretending it wasn't me. It was only then that I realised it shows who stunned Yakamaru in the chat. 😳🤣

Back when I first started playing, I wanted to get a floating skull above my head because it looked cool. I thought it had something to do with the slayer skill because the icon looked similar. Not long after, some guy convinced me that I could get one from the Slayer Tower. Sure enough, he took me north to the wilderness on the pretext of leading me there.. And that my friends was the tale of how I lost my prized steel armor set.

One long time ago my brother introduced me to runescape. I wanted to become stronger then him so I started attacking guards. Little did I know that guards can't be killed very easily by someone who doesn't have a weapon and is new to the game. So I started running from it. And 10 minutes later I called my brother and begged him to kill the guard...

funny moment.. i was on my way to nexaod mass, i see mod ramen on his alt "flying ramen" i told him he was a god he told me he was a human.. he then told me he was there for bug testing..first kill he iced me and somebody else and then got told to sit out for a few kills and "learn" the mechanics.. was funny that they had no clue it was him and that they kicked the damn creator of aod but made me realise how toxic ranks are.. never massed since. ;)

The first funny thing that comes to mind is some clan mates were helping me get my first ROTS kill and one of the guys on the other side forgot his bolts. They both proceeded to die leaving my side left to solo.. Safe to say we didn't get the kill seeing as I was a learner :smile:

Kind of funny but kind of a sweet recovery as well. A while after I started playing in 04 (less than year). I was sadly baited and got my account stolen. So, I created a new account, leveled it up a little, and tracked down my account, and the guy was still playing it. I tracked his world by adding him and searched all over until i "ran into him". I initiated a conversation and became friendly with him. After a couple weeks, I told him how I was the original owner of the account that he stole. And that it meant a lot to me. After a bit of talking back and fourth, he agreed to give me it back. We were friends on his main for a good while. I don't think he plays now, but I enjoy the story. It was the scummy scammer you see people fall for turning into the good guy just because he got to know his victim. Anyway...Maybe not entirely funny. But one of my favorite stories over the years.

I was first introduced to the game back in middle school from my friend. I wanted to catch up to him so I stayed up killing Lumbridge Cows and building up my bank. Now at an impressive lv 17, I first experienced afking when I continued killing these cows. I mainly focused the calves as I thought they'd be easier targets. Well, when I turn back to view the screen I see I have very low health fighting an lv 2 calf so instead of running I went for this kill. I died. Not having any clue how I got there as my friend showed me how to get there I lost all my gear and coins. The next day on our way to school I had to explain to him what happened and both he and my dad laughed at me throughout the car ride. I then blamed the account and made a new one without a disgraceful existence.

Well, when i started to play runescape, back in the day i had to spend a week at home being sick, so i couldn't go out and meet with friends to ask questions, they were much more experienced, and i didn't know english at the time to find out on the internet, basically i spent a week playing runescape, it took me 3 days to get to combat level 10 ( idk how fr), and when i got to combat level 10 i got really sad because i couldn't equip my black scimitar, so the rest of the week i spent just wandering around runescape, when i got better i went to my friends house and it took us atleast a hour to figure out that the level 10 that's required is attack and not combat. Good times. Also obviously there was a time when i wandered to edgeville in my full mithril and rune scimitar which took me 3 weeks of coal mining to obtain, stepped into wilderness not knowing what it was at the time, running up to someone and getting killed for my mithril and everything, because i didn't see a use for bank at the time and carried everything with me. Damn this hit some nostalgia, good times being a kid.

When I was a kid I saw a video about green dragons in the wilderness and convinced my older brother to go kill them. He told me to take him there and I agreed. I had absolutely no idea where I was going 😂. While roaming around the wilderness I accidentally clicked on somebody and attacked him. he chose to pk me and I started freaking out. Used to chop yew trees for money in Runescape back in 2007 or so on my brothers account while he went to school. Hit 90 woodcutting (which is a whole lot of yew logs or money). When I decided to buy h4 rune armor (it looked cool) my brother kicked me off his account for spending "his money". Made my own account and quickly out levelled him through mass fist of guthix playing (runes are a waste of money... right?). Since I was combat 78 compared to his 58, he wanted to play on my account. Simply wouldnt let him.

When aod came out, i died having protect item and a portent of item protection, but the shadow came with me into deaths office and stacked me out causing me to lose all the times from my first death and only leaving me with the option to buy back the other 2 items that were saved with the portent and prayer. 5 years ago i had a blue , white , and red phats in inventory and nothing else walking in level 30/40 wildy and that time we had 3 item protect and there was couple of guys following me so one of em traded me and gave me third age melee armour set and i accepted and he tried to attack me and figured out that i was only level 50 and they was 120 + and it was only level 30/40 wildy :D :D i figured out how stupid i was accepting this trade but my luck was so op :D
