This update is also massive for the tome of water. And as an example, with Black Demons now 40% weaker to water spells + 10% damage boost from the tome, so you absolutely melt through them

rs3 has ancients the same as elemental (blood = fire, smoke = air, ice = water, shadow = earth) might be the same

The weaknesses are only for the standard spell book since the standard spells are really not used beyond the early-mid game a lot. Just to give some love back to the standard elemental spells.

It should, yeah. It's not some magical new weakness to crossbows, crossbows just now do heavy ranged damage and NPC ranged defense was split into three categories, with dragons getting a reduced heavy ranged defense bonus. The DHCB bonus is added on top of the normal accuracy roll made just based on your ranged attack and the enemy's ranged defense, so it should still all work as normal.

Its literally not power creep, they actually nerfed end game mage since now you need a boot swap and pray augury to have the same max hit with shadow as before. The boots are literally 2 max hits with shadow and max mage setup and nobody likes doing 9 way swaps. Long story short, end game mage got nerfed

You'd think aviansies would adopt weakness to earth since they're actively flying in the air why would they be weak to it, I could see maybe strong gusts but idk kree already makes lil tornadoes with attacking. It would add a literal meaning to the whole 2 birds 1 stone thing except itd be one bird with one stone. I would also expect skeletons/barrows be earth or water weakness (bury the dead/throw rocks at bones). Trolls makes more sense to be weak to water no shot those block heads can swim.
