For the wildy rogue chest I just take Dmace, Fury, and Nez Helm. Decent prayer bonus and those 3 tiems will away be saved over anything you get from the chest so it's literally just go back and continue. Maybe throw in rada's blessing for the free extra prayer bonus. Running out of prayer with just those is a good milestone for banking. Just have the obelisk set to ferox and menu swapped for 1 click tele to destination and you are usually golden.

Started playing OSRS for the first time recently. I have been HARD on the grind for almost a week now. Over 90 hours this week lmao but here i thought I was approaching mid game, 40 combat level, im mining gold and smelting jewellry. I thought I made it. I thought I was getting to be somebody. But, i still have such a long way to go lol so excited lol

My best advice would be; you don't have to speed run the game, especially if you have plenty of spare time. Play the game however you want but you don't have to prove yourself to others and being inefficient is fine. But if you like to grind hard all the time and that is fun for you, enjoy

Completely agree with rogue chest. The buff makes it totally worthwhile. I will add that if you find a world where the rogues are trapped to the east, there's not even a need for prayer. If you have friends you can also scare off potential pkers via strength in numbers.

Then you're not in mid-game yet.. Everyone has their own take on what mid-game is 'subjective' to a point sure.. but combat stats 70-90, bank value under 150m, qps under 175 seems fair estimate

Still not sure how tombs of amascut raids gets calculated to 7m+ an hour when I've done about 6 of them now and my loot was between 10-80k per chest. WoOoOOo, I'll get that twisted bow in no time. (at least the thread has bad luck mitigation, SURELY one of these runs...) might try soloing bandos though now that the colosseum got me some real cash for some real gear (pre-wave1 nerf, RIP) I honestly expected bandos armor to crash into the absolute ground now that armor from content as accessible as Barrows drops armor with the exact same str bonus, but it's still holding.

What I do isn't as optimal but I kill blue dragons near castle wars and safe spot two of them to train range (87 currently) and make about 450k an hour using broad bolts and just a rune crossy with void. Also gets me like 26-27k xp per hr. Maybe one day I'll upgrade but that's gonna take another decade it feels like 😭

a lot of people questioning this being mid-game, but i’d say it absolutely is. keep in mind this game has a huge scope of content. I have 1900 total level, lots of leviathan/vardorvis/vorkath/zulrah/muspah kc, and about a 500m bank. i still consider myself mid-game, although maybe on the higher end of it. I’d consider lategame getting absolute BiS like tbow/masori/shadow etc, getting elite diaries for more efficiency, completing the hardest combat achievements, getting max cape, doing inferno/max scaled toa/CoX/colosseum//CG to be late game. relative to the scope of content in this game, this is objectively all mid-game content, and the hard truth is that a lot of players never bother crossing into end-game content.

Respectfully, I disagree. Only because I think it makes more sense to distinguish the things you're stating to be late game instead as end game. I do feel like these requirements are super heavy on requirements. The average mid-game has around 100-125m in their bank total, and on average has around base 75-80s in combat. That's just my two cents, I suppose.

And bofa on obelisk at warden will out dps fang by a pretty good margin seeing as it has slightly less range defence and bofa is 4tick

Just threw out a number for overlords, it's just a terrible invorcation which was the point I was making. Bowfa in teams causes a delay and will wipe the boys. Ran calcs, bowfa and fang are about the same dps on obelisk (fang is still higher always though)

Not fully piping kephri swarms for 2 0hp phases because you’re dealing with the extra minions is the reason it takes 3-4 more minutes not just the time it takes to kill the additional mob.
