The artificers measure and the blessed flask are, by far, my favorite items. I love the complicated crafting chains. crafting legendary and relic weapons in guild wars 2 and ff14 respectively were some of the most fun i've had in gaming. Having an extremely long term goal that you can work on slowly every day (like maxing in rs) is what I love to do.

Late to the party, but leaving it here for posterity: you don't need to keep the artificer equipped to benefit from the exp buff. This means that you can get the buff with the hides preset, then switch to something that benefits you from the offhand slot (like sliske set) or 2h (sculpting chisels) and maximize your boosts that way. From my experience with construction contracts specifically, they barely ever proc the effect, so its better to just assume you wont renew it and use a chisel instead for the 1% exp boost (if wise 4 is capped out), as you will still get the +5% boost from the buff (so a total of +6%)

The crafting level can be boosted for creation. This allows you to take advantage of it from level lower levels on the way to 99.

I can't remember if you can use the divine succ from the inventory but if you can't then the memory dowser won't be all that useful.

You cant but the dowser is still better, as it is just as afk as the succ, but with increased spring time and chance of double memories
