My uncle got me into RuneScape when I was a kid. His mom (my grandma) started playing a year or two after me. She only killed goblins in lumbridge for like 2 months because she was scared of leaving the area. We finally convinced her to explore when she hit base 70 melee stats and it was over for us. She got 99 fishing, cooking, melee stats, mining, and smithing. Grandma was grinding hard while I was spinning flax..

I remember having her and blue rose as good friends. Zezima came after that time and then competed heavily with blue rose and then gormis who was climbing ranks fast before getting banned and going to never winter nights. My rsn was big-knockers and funny story, I was zezimas priest at his in game wedding. I love the content looking back and seeing old friends shown the respect they earned. There have been some pretty significant women in Runescape. I think the first person to get high enough smithing in RS1 was a woman. She made an empire selling adamant and rune as the only person that could smith them. Then there was another woman that made a Runecrafting empire and was responsible for the creation of "essence running" since she was trying to get rank 1 runecrafting. Those are the only ones off the top of my head, but the details behind them are damn impressive.

Honestly a great deal of my friends on runescape are moms. Osrs is huge with moms. I think it has to do with how afk it is, as a mom stuffs gotta be busy as hell and runescape you can literally just afk. Or just play for 10 minutes than come back and you dont need to get really invested at all.
