I've always liked making guides and PvMing, so let's mix the two together and here we are. Hopefully you guys enjoy this Vorkath guide that I made, I am planning to do more bossing guides going forward after I finish up doing them on my other account so that I can form a well versed opinion on the bosses before I make the guide. Also regarding the starters melee gear if you don't have tassies the obby legs don't necessarily give a max hit. Runelite has max hit plugin with which you can check this easily (you gotta be killing vork so it checks it with the salve effect). If obby legs don't give a max hit (or you need more tankiness) then you can replace them with justiciar legs / verac's plateskirt / torag's legs.

Couple things: if you dont wanna use to many redirect scrolls you can relocate your house to relekka. Neitiznot faceguard is better and cheaper then serp helm, if you do bring a serp helm you dont need an antivenom. At 90-99 melee stats(idk how it is for ranged). bring a 2 dose divine super combat, a 2 dose super extended antifire and a 3 dose antivenom+(this is so you have extra inventory for loot at the end of ur trip and you dont last longer then those supplies on ur average trip). When killing it with melee you can keep 2tick woox walking(what you do during acid phase) for the entire kill to avoid most melee hits. You can bring guthix rests(about 2) to heal up between hits without losing ticks. Thats about it, good guide! Rsn: floris w

Great guide! The trick for Woox Walking with a crossbow is to immediately click somewhere in front of Vork after clicking on him. So you can think of it as a 3 action pattern: 1. Click Vork 2. Click somewhere in front of him on the next tick 3. Click behind you after walking 3 steps forward

Idk if the comments said it already but with melee you take a bgs, not d claws lol. You always 1 spec bgs at the beginning and then go into the fight you never switch to spec vorkath mid fight or at the end. Also you don’t need a venom potion if you’re wearing a serp. You simply bring a divine super combat and a super antifire extended 3 prayer pots and the same food. For the starter. You don’t start people off this way dude. It’s the same exact thing for max gear you just switch to bandos and a lance for melee. That’s it with an avernic. Same inventory.

A good tip with the minion spawn, click on the tile underneath your character to stop trying to attack vorkath. It saves you the time of trying to attack while frozen and can attack the spawn faster.

For the people that struggle with woox walking for bp and melee play with sounds on. U need to click attack then 1 tick later click back 1 tick atk and so on but his fire also shoots every tick so u can use that sound as a guideline to click every tick

Would a dragonfire shield be a viable option instead of an avernic or dragon defender? Extra defence to tank more hits no? Or the extra DPS outweighs the defencive bonus?

BIG TIP, if you are bringing the blowpipe as your second weapon to heal with the spec make sure to pray mage when you do since you unequip your dragonfire ward, great guide, subbed.

great guide, the only thing id suggest adding is telling people when to eat and why not to eat throughout the fight. i personally eat once when i see him spit out the crawly fucker and then after i crumble undead it, i will take a prayer sip (if i need to do any of that) to maximize my dps. that little tip has helped my kills/h soooo much! but yeah, great guide. love the vids =)

Maybe with rune bolts, but dragon bolts hit 75 with diamond (e) and its better to switch when vork has around 350 hp instead of 262. Source: 3700 vork kills Rsn:Yauker

The original comment is stating that the switch should happen at lower hp and the guy who replies said that it'd be better to switch earlier because diamond bolts hit more accurately and it hits high enough anyways. Second, Ironman and Hardcore Ironman players use rune bolts. Some people with low hp use runite bolts as well. It's slow but it gets their kc and money going.

With that information we can conclude that the other guy was saying to switch when Vork is at a lower hp and the second guy said switch even if Vork has a higher hp. If you wanna go further into the topic. 35% of vork's health is 262.5 . So the first guy is saying to kill vorkath not at 262.5 hp. That said, we can tell the difference with the second guy saying switch bolts at 350 instead of 262.

Also good way to get there is house tabs with a portal to waterbirth and take ship to relleka which is almost instant from when u tele to water. maybe 2 steps away and it puts you on last dock. short run 2 docks up

If not using the serpentine helm I recommend not using an anti-venom until you need to. I can go entire kills sometimes without getting envenomed.

Tick eating Vorkath is also pretty easy, I usually bring some guthix rests as they can heal you without losing ticks

During acid pools with dhcb just walk to the edge > attack Vorkath > walk 3 squares towards Vorkath and repeat by walking again to the edge. Easier than walking around.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if BP method just really sucks this bad - 90 Range (divine potted to 103), super extended anti fire, anti venom+, salve ammy (ei), I'm using BP and protecting from magic. I still get frozen and can't attack him sometimes (not just the satan spawn thing), and I can just barely make it through the kill using up all my food (maybe 1 shark left over if I'm lucky). I'm also 81 def, is that why I'm getting f'd in the a?

This is the only guide ive seen that says melee is best, im going to assume everyone else is not wrong, mainly because u can hit 100s with ranged and only tops like 50 with melee... so idk

The difference is one depends on the ruby bolt spec and the other is consistent. Range doesn't always hit 100. Only when it specs and it depends on RNG. Melee can hit 50's consistently and much more faster. So the time range hits 100, melee has already hit 200. Like most things in this game it's all about RNG. You either want quick and accurate with average hits or slow less accurate with massive hits.

I did 800 kills with the blowpipe setup, then after I finally got the dhcb I did another 205 kills. The dhcb is completely worth it and is very very recommended. Going back I really would only do max 200 kills with blowpipe. It was cancer with the bp

I have a problem, I have super antifire, antivenom+, Dragonfire shield, void helm/robe, karil leathertop, dragoncrossbow with ruby bolts (e). I still get hit hard af with his bolts even with mage protection and steel skin prayer on. I get hit like 20-30 every 2nd bolt he throws at me. I dont step on poison or get hit by the crab/undead spider thingy. It is just straight up his magic bolts that kill me. Any help?

If you're wearing void, you shouldn't have any karil pieces on. Also, use an anti-dragon shield instead of DFS because the latter has negative ranged bonus (dragonfire ward is best tho). Finally, make sure to protect from ranged instead of mage as the guide says, since anti-dragon shield plus super antifire fully protects from dragonfire. Only the magic attack (blue ball) should hurt you then
