I love the freedom this game provides in how one can train for xp. Either super click intensive for more xp, more afk for less xp or somewhere in the middle. You can play however you want and two players journeys are never the same this game is so good.

I want to note about prayer you don't even need to shift-click. Runelite also has a customizable left click now for inventory (not just shift-click), so you can left click use without holding shift. A bit more comfortable on the hands.

@@maxcheese382 Yeah, it's safe. Runelite and Jagex have a close relationship, so anything in the official Runelite client plugins, or in the plugin hub is safe to use. If you're using a fork or custom plugins (other than plugin hub) then that's at your own risk though.

For fletching I highly recommend setting up windows mousekeys, it basically works the same as autohotkeys where it can jump between 2 items in your invent, except its fully allowed by Jagex. Mudkip has a good guide on setting them up. I can usually get pretty close to max actions per tick using windows mousekeys

Mobile is way better for darts, zoom in with accessibility settings and one finger on each side and spam, you don't even have to look and it's faster than a mouse.

Am I missing something when it comes to Motherlode? Everyone says it's afk, but I started doing it today and found myself having to pay attention and click every couple of seconds. Not exactly "intensive", but I definitely wouldn't consider that afk.

It's really not that AFK, although it's a little better when you unlock the upper floor. Try scouting your own shooting stars if you want truly AFK mining experience. If you find something low level nearby to attack you and keep you in combat you only need to click once when the tier of the rock drops. If you get a decent rock to yourself you can sometimes play for nearly 2 hours and click ~5 times.

Upstairs is very afk. Each ore vein is timer based and with sound cues u really only have to look to deposits your pay dirt

Mining: volcanic mine - 70k/hr if you're lower level. Lvl 90+ it's 80-95k/hr. Over half the xp is almost as fast as granite. It's 100% the way to go unless you're an iron needing the materials

For mining I 1000000% recommend shooting stars. MLM is not as afk as people make it seem. Shooting stars though, you might log out from how afk it is. It’s my go-to and at this point I wouldn’t do any other mining method

Not sure if it’s just me, but guardians of the rift has absolutely changed the runecrafting game for me. I hate all forms of runecrafting I’ve tried but the guardians minigame has been super enjoyable as a training method with what appears to be at least somewhat competitive rates

@@haven6455 oh man, I really enjoy it. I just had b0aty’s walkthrough for it on up on one monitor and timed it with the actual game until I had an understanding of what each thing in the minigame does. Hardest part for me was finding a world that has players but wasn’t too crowded!

Nobody ever talks about it but artifacts for thieving are amazing. I was getting around 200k/hr paying mostly attention in the lvl 80's-90's and you don't destroy your wrist like ardy knights

Vm is really easy and more afk you just need to join the vm discord to be able to find teams for it. Half the roles you do are checking a vent once then just follow the big rock.

I actually went and burst 99 mage (not range though) because it was my last combat 99 after I got prayer, I just plowed through 96-99 mage so I could get 2 99s and max combat in the same day!

One click summer garden is over 100k thieving xp per hour with a 5-10 minute setup. You don't even really need to look at the screen with the plug in. It's super afk, and it's easy to recover. If you miss the click, you just wait like 45 seconds for the cycle to come back.

I like the info here but I think you missed an opportunity to mention driftnet fishing which is more exp than chins and barb fishing together if you take the fact that you're getting 2 skills up at comparable rates at the same time. And then with lava runes you can pay runners for a decent trade off of spending gp for 3x the exp rates.

something to add, at 65 thieving you can do summer garden, with the 1 click summer garden plugin its super easy and chill; about 130k xp per hour. then at 78 you can do dorgesh-kaan rich chests, just grab 2 chests then world hop over and over and i was getting about 200k xp per hour. I found these much less annoying than blackjacking.

For mobile it's a bit different, when your "afk" you're still stuck looking at the screen, so anything engrossing is actually enjoyable, I enjoyed 1.5t teaks and 3t granite

Anything with a minigame or bossing method of levelling is where it's at. Love me some wintertodt and summertodt (tempoross). If there were a springtodt for farming and an autumntodt for woodcutting, I'd be rockin' those too.

@@warryen I think it's the best they could do for farming as its supposed to be slow, they have hespori too though. Woodcutting could use some love, best we got is ents and woodcutting guild. Used to be one of the better money makers but now it's just a slow grind skill. Something to make it useful would be awesome, like some non traceable logs or something, a boss that you have to fight but then woodcut a leg at 1/2 hp or something

I like the idea of having fun levelling alternatives to just sitting around watching tv waiting for my inventory to fill up. Even if I don’t get big loot or exp from the method.

Ik this video is old, but wanted to comment that i kind of disagree about power training range/mage and ill include melee because of slayer passively leveling it.. the reason why is because if you wait to do slayer until youre high level in conbat, youll get and can more efficiently do better tasks with better masters.. for example, i was training ranged via slayer with a BP a few years ago, got it to 91 and just caved in, spent like 12m and chinned to 99. 91-99 took me i think just a couple of days doing this, and same with magic. I used NMZ wayyy back in the day when we could afk guthans for 6 hours and had those maxed for a long time now.. but after i was totally maxed in combat, ive been able to power level slayer MUCH more easily and efficiently for relatively low cost in comparison to the time saved

3t4g is certainly not 95k/hr, even 120k would be a conservative estimate. Also, you didn't include 2t fishing for fishing methods which is just less click intensive than 3t with higher exp/hr. These oversights will sway someone new to the game from choosing a particular method, especially if your rates are 30% off... just my thoughts though.
