As a OSRS player, never realized RS3 didn't have group ironmen yet. Find it rather interesting that they are releasing it around the time Brighter Shores is planned to be released as they likely know a lot of players are going to try the other MMO and want people committed to their own MMO to not leave.

I must say the Survey that they made is making me hopeful for the future of rs3. If they do start addressing the community in the same manner that the osrs team does we might have a light at the end of the tunnel I feel. It is a long survey but I think its important that people do it to let the devs know what our stances are on various topics.

GIM seems like a lot of fun if my friends didnt call rs3 trash xd, kinda gives me FSW vibes, I know most people disliked FSW, but let me just say, the first month of FSW was peak RS3 for me, and close behind is the first month of darkscape, my god it was so nice not just doing the highest boss that drops the most gold per hour. Doing Vorago with the boys in lunar the first few days of FSW was just so enjoyable

GIM is totally the thing that would pull me into RS3. I never got very far playing live RS2 as a kid and had a blast with modern OSRS, so much cool stuff to do and no need to be optimal if I'm just balling out with buddies

Is the Necromancy ring from Osseous a completely separate ring or an upgrade to Zorgoth’s soul ring? I’m assuming it’s an upgrade like the other Rex Matriarchs but it doesn’t specify it and the wording makes it seem like it’s a completely different ring even though it wouldn’t make sense for them to release two different Necromancy rings back to back. The only other option would be that the two rings can be fused together.

Cannot wait for the slayer content. After all these years now having to upgrade the slayer helm again will be nice. Plus, the new mining/smithing sounds amazing. Just hope there are tier 99 weapons that are gonna be fantastic, especially for melee. Fourth conjure is great, too.

Thank you for being positive about things. The select few people that somehow think this is just not enough content still are ridiculous. Even more people bitching about getting GIM as well and acting like only a few people want it. I have 3 friends and myself alone that have been wanting this for ages and had given up on it honestly. If there are 4 people alone that I know, there are bound to be plenty of others out there as well. I like to check the reddit for news and interesting posts from time to time, but the amount of negativity there is disgusting (I know it's mostly just reddit, as many people I talk to in game, including my clan, are generally positive about things coming).

There is something equally important to the roadmap reveal that you left out, and that is we will also have Mod Markos, OSRS' Executive Producer also working on RS3. Which means some of what made OSRS so successful will hopefully be brought to RS3 as well. But yeah, this roadmap now makes them having to cancel Summer hub for Osseus and the Daemonheim Archaeology dig site make sense since there is a lot of big projects in the lineup instead of the year being seemingly empty without the roadmap based on the experience we've had in the last 5 months or so. This has turned me from being distraught for the future of my favourite game to being very hopeful!

Things like this roadmap make me hopeful but I think we all know that for every upside they have 10 downsides so itll probably only go up, they still only care about money. it takes us SCREAMING and beating our fists on their door and losing our minds for them to even remotely try to give us things we want.

Only way to lower bond price is to increase the supply of bonds in the market. So we should get all the irl rich kids to buy bonds with cash and flood the market.

How do you wanna combat that? They would either have lower price of bonds irl which is not gonna happen or make bonds not buy membership which would be contraproductive. Because only other way is for people to start buying more bonds to sell to the market and that is not gonna happen.

As a 20 year veteran I was really afraid of RuneScape dying since we didn’t get any content reveals for such a long time but only mtx oder some patch notes. With this roadmap disclosure I am to be honest so happy that the game will thrive again, perhaps attract players to return and maybe get some of the old streamers back to the game like wazzy or Maikeru. Can’t wait for the new updates. However, I’m still a bit disappointed that they didn’t announce any new clues but I guess this is just a complaint on a high level :P All in all, well done Jagex!

With t95s being meta.... anyone for t92 invention components? am i the only one thinking about dissasembling a wand of the praesul for "elemental" or "praesulic" components? Anima components? masterwork components? plenty of ideas... elite from elite sirenic or tectonic on top of some rumbling which youd normally get, maybe even "lich" components from dracolich or id say elite armor sets could be kept from that list and dracolich is new enough that making it dissasemble into components would be kinda dumb... idk just my POV.

@smoldrizzo I find alot of the new graphical updates are very half asked. Andy for example, still so many new textures mixed in with old. It's like springing glitter on a turd.

Still really praying for some XP buffs to mid level combat. Afking for hours at abyss cant be a better experience then the old ed3 enjoyment wise not asking for like double xp speeds but lower level accounts will see maybe 1-200k xp per hour and thats our best option and its just brutal for questing requirements and money farming.

This is good but... they really should've done this in January, if anything it would make RS' Birthday more exciting if they can be "Happy Birthday, RuneScape! This is what's going to happen for the year ahead!", because for just over 5 months, like you mentioned, it's been meh, and has just compounded the feeling of burnout. However, Daemonheim getting some love (and hopefully that also means "Normal" Dungeoneering gets some too) might entice me back in June.

The image of the dungeon is the final room of the ToA raid in osrs and another dude pointed out that the shadow in the middle looks like the dog boss from ToB...maybe a combo of all 3 osrs raids in one dungeon?? Mind blown.
