Yeah. I think it's a masterpiece. I love the vocals on this so much. The way he sings this, the rhythm in his voice and everything, really well done. The lyrics are extremely nice too, and the tune is so special. Idk. I can't name one song that sounds like Bonnie.
@shattereddream177 жыл бұрын
Every song they've released after peripheral vision, I go "oh, it's alright. lil weird." and then I listen to it a few more times and then that turns into 400 times on repeat. Takes me a minute to get into it, but once it's in my head it's all I want to hear. Really excited for this new album.
@ajays50136 жыл бұрын
That's honestly how I felt about every song off of Good Nature. At first it's sort of "off" and you miss Peripheral Vision because it's not the same. Then as you listen to it more and more it starts to really grow on you!

Turnover is going for a different concept over their last album, and it definitely shows. They've managed to take the feeling of late summer and encapsulate it into music. This feels like Good Nature will be an opposite twin of Peripheral Vision. It's far from disappointing, and I'm so looking forward to receiving my copy.
@hothamms93447 жыл бұрын
Its basically all the echo, delay, and reverb of Peripheral vision but they ditched the simple chord progressions and moved onto actual guitar play. The feeling of the album is also more happy compared to PV which was so sad. The whole album front to back are solid hits.

After listening to how depressed Austin was during PV, it makes me happy that this how he feels with this album. To all you fuckers that don't like the new music, my boy Austin isn't sad anymore. He's content af with the traveling and experiences he's been having with his friends and his woman. The lyrics we've come to know singing our heart out whether it be Sasha, I Would Hate You If I Could, Waiting, Cutting My Fingers Off. All of those songs were sad. From the songs they've released already, is happy. It's uplifting with uplifting lyrics. They've come a long way from the. And they were and are still evolving. This band saved me and everything they do I'll back up and support. GOD BLESS TURNOVER thank you guys for all you do!

Turnover is one of those bands where I love everything they came out with. When they came out with the album, Good Nature, I was expecting tracks to be depressing and stuff for me to be sad about my ex and life n shit which is what I used to when I listened to Turnover in the past. But when I listened to the whole album, I had a new mindset w this band. Every track is so beautifully composed and Good Nature is my all time favorite album and it’s definitely my go to when I need a pick me up

Everyone wants to complain about the new songs and how it doesn't compare to PV but does the self titled album sound like magnolia or PV or any of the EPs? It's called progression and growing as a musician, it's something we hope all of our favorite bands do. With that said I love all the new music dropped so far.

While I find Turnover's self titled and Magnolia to be good pop-punk/ alternative records, they're just that. Good. I genuinely found them to be a solid pop-punk band however, PV shits on everything they've released prior imo. With the Humblest Pleasures EP and Good Nature just solidifying their new Dream Pop/Shoegaze sound. Sure you can say "they're just not the same/their old sound is better" but at the end of the day Peripheral Vision put them on the map for a reason.

Jonathan Moore I honestly like everything they've put out. I just feel like many people who say they like turnover only have listened to peripheral because it is what made them popular. And as I said before this genre is extremely popular right now. But I'm glad to see there are people who actually listen to turnover rather than their popular album.

Already listened to the album. It's a solid 7.6/10. I sort of imagined Good Nature as a tropical forest while Peripheral Vision was a boreal / taiga. While the genre hasn't changed much, the cover art should be enough of a reflection that these collection of tunes are meant to serve the opposite purpose as Peripheral Vision did. There's a huge smattering of dream pop and shoegaze bands now-Bandcamp is where they thrive. I'm not too entirely sure where the band can take their sound now but I don't think they should remain in dream pop forever. The sound they had on Blue Dream was a nice balance of soft and hard-hitting that I think they can certainly expand while winning over new fans in the process. Not to mention they might be able to bring back older songs to play live. That's just me. Anyways, it's a solid album, but they should really try to find a balance of new and old sound now to keep things interesting.
