Unfortunately we haven't gotten any Odd-eyes support or any thing that would effect it. Blame Konami for only making Odd-Eyes XYZ and not giving us a Odd-eyes link monster already.

1st opp could've used crossout on fenrir or Unicorn, activated birth then specialed. That's how I play Kash with crossout in such situations, even if you had the quick play to pop birth

He didn’t, he used a runick spell so he had no battle phase, but he needs to declare battle phase so it can be skipped
