Hi another great video you inspired me recently on one of your race Vlogs. I was suffering in a 12k trail Race in France because it was very hilly and humid 70%! I witnessed how hard you push yourself helped me get through it! 😉👊 ps I’ll take the Ciele hat and any trail shoes you don’t want I Uk 8.5 Neil

The music selection in the recent videos I think is very good; esp. when the music matches with drone shoots, perfect.

Not sure why I’ve been getting so emotional about these kinds of things recently, but the Andy’s tradition is so awesome to me. Has me tearing up. I remember when I was a sophomore in high school watching the channel before school at 5:00am every day and seeing the Andy’s tradition. It’s going to be something that those kids think about a lot when life moves forward.

Practice doesn’t make perfect, but it does create something even more valuable for any athlete; PATIENCE! So Dewa and i did Yale the day after Trail Natz, but we did it via Denny Creek TH… now you’re amazing time makes a bit more sense…great job! Now we’re gonna have to go for that route! So many trails, so little time!…Patience!

I started running 10 years ago, at 36 years old. Barely any progress for the first 6 years... then I got *serious and really increased my training. Since then the results have been amazing 🙏🏼 Staying consistent and patient and stacking training blocks is sooooo worth it! I'm still getting faster

Congrats on FKT. 5 yrs. Ago did first 100 miler going back this year @Hennepin Hundred(not the sure footed mountain runner you are) looking to go faster. Thanks as always for the inspiration.

Congratulations, Seth! Great mountain and trail, outstanding mastery of your foot strike. Onward to Italy. I’ve appreciably lost speed since turning 55 almost six years ago BUT, thanks to better training technique and more weights/strength development, my recovery time is reduced after bigger races from what it was a decade ago. I can still win my age bracket more than half the time, but there are fewer runners in that category so that’s mostly just vanity ;-) Emphasizing quality over quantity of time on feet.

Qd. I began running 4 years ago during Covid because I couldn't to to the Y for yoga, lifting and karate. So all of my gains have been in the last 4 years. First 5k. 10k. Half. Marathon. And now this year two mountain half's here in central PA.

Four years ago I had my second knee surgery (the same knee). But at the time I was running 5k and 10k. I never thought I could run anymore. But here I am, 4 years after I have completed 5 half marathons and currently training for my first marathon!!!🎉

QD - going through that transition of being a regular Run-Walker to trying to trying to run longer distances, finding my actual pace is much faster being a run-walker, but the patience of knowing it’s a step to being faster overall!

QD: 5 years ago, I was just entering my first xc season in middle school. Hit a pr in the 2 mile of 13:21, and barely made the district team. Today, I’m at the top of my team going for the sub 10 2 mile and sub 16 5k

years and years of patience... late start/late bloomer over here... only just now really getting into intervals, vo2max, threshold, etc. after years of building the aerobic engine/very polarized training (even w/ some chunks of down time and inactivity {life happens🤷♂}). the adaptations are sticking, the HR has been trending down and gains are being made. turning 36 in a few weeks... oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
