Congrats to the both of you!! You don't even need to win to actually be a winner. You all went for it, did something awesome together and it was cool just to see you going for a shared goal. Noelle has a wonderful smile and comes across as open and genuine on screen and the two of you are so easy to watch. I love that about your vids, they're so relaxing and enjoyable to kick back with, without a bunch of drama and complaining about van life. I'm always looking forward to the next one!

One could. You would just have to train for it. Running a half marathon with no training can be risky, though.

Congratulations man, glad to see you try something different and that takes out of your comfort zone, I'am also training for a race this July with my girlfriend as well, so it's pretty nice to see someone motivated and happy about it, at the end of the day, times like this, the time or numbers don't mattter, what matters it's that you accomplished it

Hats off for you two running with no training! If marathon/half’s are something you guys are considering doing more often, as a lifelong runner, I would say carb loading/energy chews and all the extra stuff, will mostly only hurt you if you aren’t training, or using both often. If your body isn’t used to the caffeine chews or carb loading once a week maybe, it could react negatively! You mainly wanna eat normal before races, but lots of runners implement carb loading regularly before racing, usually months in advance. All of this doesn’t matter if you’re just doing it for fun at the end of the day, but if you decide to pick it up, I hope this advice helps long term! Again, this video is awesome, love all the uploads lately Ryan!

If you ever do an endurance event again, make sure to carbo load 48 hours prior, not the night before. The night before your body doesn’t digest the nutrients. Your body runs on a 48 hour system. So what you consume and hydrate 48 hours prior is when it is most crucial. It is always the novice’s biggest problem, carbo loading a ton the night before the race and sluggish the day of the race. You still carbo load the night before the race, but not to the extent of eating more portions. You eat a regular portion for dinner. That being said, you did it!

After weight loss, surgery, I started doing 5K’s and moved into a comfortable 10 K so I thought I would move up to a half marathon. I signed up at a local running store for a marathon training quickly, dropped it down to a half marathon, and I trained with them for six months nice and slow, I thought I had it all together. I was mentally ready physically ready and motivated. What else do you need right after the 10th mile? I thought I was going to die I couldn’t think of any part of my body that wasn’t in pain. Luckily I was with a group that went through the training together and we all motivated each other to the end. How do I been by myself? I would have never finished it. Congratulations to you and Nicole but more to you because you don’t run regularly you put your mind to doing something and you did it your time is of an importance, walking across that or running across that finish line is what was important great job by the way a few people on the sidelines of where I ran took my picture and the pictures of others that we trained with and I look like hell warmed over and everyone of the pictures lol and you were able to record the whole thing is there anything you cannot do?
