Running an in situ mould with cement render

Gemma and Nick from Render Creations running the first stage of an in situ mould. The template was taken from the original mould which is being repaired.

How did you made the template to exactly replicate the facade? Can you make a video on how to make a template?

You'd normally cut into the existing moulding with a saw (internally when replicating cornice / roses etc) slide in your material (zinc or tin) and trace around. A similar method could be done using a grinder in external mouldings.

Probably 4:1 (sand & cement)
