I think that treading through bogs with wet feet is what is called “character building” Claire! Well done, it’s good to see you progress piece by piece x

Good work The pylons are generally referred to as ‘Anthorn masts’. They are a brilliant land mark. They were a radio station for submarines. They now broadcast a time signal This can be seen on one of Tom Scott’s amazing videos.

Ah brilliant - the mystery is finally solved! I didn't think they were electricity pylons - now I know what they are.

Quite a bit of wet ground on that walk. We visit the Lake District often from the U.S. Always make a point to spend some time walking along the sea in Maryport, so that area is one of our favorites.

Maryport is a lovely place! It's the first time I've been whilst doing this challenge but I'm enjoying exploring the coast instead of just the mountains. Thanks for watching.

@@runningbritain It is. We usually stay in Redmain outside Cockermouth, so Maryport is just a few miles away. Enjoy your journey.
