@@WithMeNow aw, it did bring a lump to my throat there to be honest. Lovely that there was a first time everer parkrun volunteer there though, how fabulous is that! She watched the parkrunners in fancy dress passing her window on their way to join the fun. Sorry about your friction burns, but guess that's the price you pay for heading up such a great vlog/pod eh? :)

Why hadn’t I watched that before? It was always going to be awesome. And it’s the only parkrun you’ve vlogged that I’ve actually been to. We walked right at the back and the double funnel had been dismantled by the time we got there so it was good to see it in action here. 😍Bertie! 💛

Finally a parkrun I’ve been to! Loved the jump change into the costume, very well done. Great to find a first time marshall - I was quite surprised to discover multiple first time parkrunners when I looked through the results of the one I did (Jesmond Dene). I wonder how many went of their own accord and how many went along with a family member? Hope your head’s recovered from the chafing by now…

Hi Katie, It’s a podcast thing of ours - a joke referring to me commenting on “her” doing something during a recording that disrupts and listeners not knowing which of the two it is. Example: she’s washing her bum in front of me. (Which is my cat, not the human obvs, but the joke is there)
