Oooh you can fic your green beans with fresh potatoes and the kielbasa together in a one pot meal. Since your beans cook for a long time I'd cook them a while first before adding your taters and the sausage. That's a staple easy supper for me at my house and everyone loves it!❤😋

Arkansas, where I live, did away with vehicle inspection requirements years ago. Now you just have to have proof of property tax assessment and payment and proof of liability insurance to renew your tags. Your Tractor Supply seemed to have a lot more inventory too than the one here.

I found after Easter this year big Easter buckets some with flowers and some with bunnies, in such pretty colors, they went down to 1.25 each and worked great for planters, and looked so pretty. 😊

I know it seems aggravating to have your car inspected but hear me out. I'm native Calif. transplanted to Tennessee. When I was a little girl in the 50's I lived in Texas and every year we went to Calif to visit my grandmother. When we would get to Calif the smog would be so heavy my head would start to hurt, my eyes burn and I would cough as soon as we got into Los Angeles. Fast forward, married with 2 school age children. It would be so bad some days kids were not allowed outside for recess. you could not see the foothills, they were completely hidden by the smog and it smelled terrible. They enacted inspections, unleaded gas became a thing and in a relatively short while the air cleaned up (not perfect), it was night and day. Calif requires inspections before registration and has for years. Believe me, it is worth it and you are doing a good thing. It would be a shame if the beauty of where you live was destroyed by air pollution. It's beautiful here in middle TN just like your countryside. Sometimes so green it almost hurts your eyes.

Texas still has vehicle inspection. We don’t really mind it.

Our vehicle inspection in NC, where Tipper and Matt are, is a safety inspection only. NC doesn't do emissions inspections. I believe there are twenty things they check. Wipers, blinkers, horn, tire tread, ect.

I was a kid in Cali 71’ -73’ and remember those smog no recess days!! ( and the dive under the desk earthquake drills!!) nothing beats clean air👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

@@saner6888 That went on for several more years into the 80's. 🙄 I remember nights in storm cellars in Texas as Tornadoes ripped through.....I lived in Wichita Falls. I HATE earthquakes but getting used to tornadoes is.......not happening...lol.

You guys have a very special family, a rarely found dynamic these days. And I compliment you both on how you have raised your daughters. You can tell they were raised in a close, Godly, stable, cultural, and loving family. In Colorado, to renew your tags you get an emissions test, and they often set those up along the major highways. When you drive by it, it registers your emissions and license plate, and the information gets sent to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

I like watching the trips to town videos, to get a feel for the area. I like the way you pronounce chanterelles. It's full of the local color and personality of the area. Its very cool to be a part of the history of your own home town. I feel like that when I drive through old neighborhoods where I built and restored old Victorian and arts and craft homes in the bay area. I did sheetmetal and the fancy copper work I did back in the 90s if finally looking original with the patina coming on strong. Craftsmanship is dying.

I just love that scenic route into Peachtree.❤ used it everyday for about a month plus. We had an RV parked out the back of a farm in the upper side of Peachtree while we sought a new home. Loved that area, we ended up way out yonder in Culberson.😊

I would. Go-to Missouri and stay with Grandma and for some reason it was always fun and comforting to me to got to town and do errands that summer. Shed say we needed to go early coz it was hot. Wed go-to the tiny grocery store and always went through a ride through Town to look. Come back and bring up jars from the basement and wash em. Sit on the porch and pick strawberry 🍓 stem's off and do beans, getting them ready to can. I never knew then, that all of those things would become something I'd LONG for as an adult and have sweet memories of that summer when I was 18.

Y'all made me chuckle, talking about going to town and spending the day together. Here in Michigan we do not have yearly vehicle inspections, but I tell you what, our registration fees and auto insurance is threw the roof. Anyway, it seems y'all had a good day, and hot dogs and fries sounds like a mighty fine supper.
