My Husband’s Grandparents were on a well. They always had rain barrels out and even buckets to catch every drop. Like you all, when you live by the land a lot you spend care to use everything up. I love your home, it reminds me of sitting around my Grand-parents In-law’s. At their house lunch was the big meal because Grandad had a mini farm but also worked on a road crew until he was 80 years old. They all got two hours for lunch and it was hard work so she fixed Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Chicken, Pork Chops or a roast with mashed potatoes and gravy or rice, vegetables, biscuits and always a piece of pie. It was so much fun to cut the work day in half with a nice meal. Thank you for putting that in my mind. 🙏♥️
