I don't understand why u want to check raise A7 clubs on the turn on a 8965 rainbow board. He is only calling with 2 pairs+. And folding all his bluffs. All his 2 pairs combo's will most likely bet the river anyways since ut hand looks like an overpair if u just called the turn. I think u should check ur entire range here to protect ur check calling turn range here.
@starttakinnotez Жыл бұрын
You can't play like that at higher stakes. People will read your abc poker. You need to do irregular plays. It's called leveling.
@jt4391 Жыл бұрын
@@starttakinnotez this isn't the right spot to do it, because it's a underbluff spot. A checkraise here is better whenever there is a possible flushdraw , that could freeze the action if it comes in.

Going to Vegas for the 1st time in April. Where are the best $1/$2 games in Vegas???
@nicholi2789 Жыл бұрын
MGM has a great uncapped 1-2 game though they don’t usually have as many tables. I would suggest the 1-3 games at Bellagio or Wynn. By far the best rooms in Vegas.
@dash9658 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info. Do you know What buy ins like for those games?
@nicholi2789 Жыл бұрын
@@dash9658at MGM it’s uncapped so you can buy in for whatever you want. Most people do $300-500. For Bellagio 1-3 is a $300 max buy in and Wynn 1-3 has a $500 max.

For me the best 1/3 games are at Wynn and Aria. Wynn has the nicest room, and Aria has good action. I find the Bellagio 1/3 to be very nitty and slow. Aria and Wynn are 500 cap games, and Bellagio is a 300 cap.

4 betting to 310 from 100 is actually a little on the small side bro. Not like crazy small, but smallish in these games. Like it's fine, but you mentioned a couple times you thought it was on the larger side which it's just not. 4 betting Harryb to $310 with QQ is inviting him in, not giving him a bad price.

Sorry to be a little detailed but at 16:40 your graphics show A-10 of diamonds yet, your actually hand is A-10 of spades. Also you keep claiming this is a table full of "Great players" BUT your camera shots and the way they played their hands indicate a more of a lackluster poker group. 1 female player has a short stack gazing off, another guy in the MP, is not even concentrating on the board or table action. I mean you were catching strong pre-flop hands, your marginals (Q-9) you hit big on the flop and you ran good AND those "Great players" were making terrible calls.

Why would you 3bet out of position with A7? And then compound this mistake by checking the river? To your credit, you DID say this was a mistake- but why, in your opinion? 8-10 was the only draw that arrived on turn, but what missed draw besides that could you bluff catch? A10 thru AK are his likely holdings- 2 pair would’ve raised flop or turn. Sounds like you were afraid of his bluff river raise range, but that also seems unlikely AND illogical based on how the hand played. Back door clubs would be his only value raising hands by the river, I’d think
