A speeding remmatra sounds like a more fun meta than the one shot meta. Atleast with remmatra there is some counter play and it actually feels fun

He actually takes skill and practice to use properly, that’s the thing. Shield/nemesis cycles need to become muscle memory to execute properly, and even with the block mechanic it takes away from your ability to deal bulk damage. His shield is stationary and temporary, vortex lasts two seconds and is used just to slow, and nemesis is can either be the equivalent of a bronze rein charging into death, or a full teamwipe

Ramattra looks like a blast and an absolute menace when you find a window but you can still be shut down by a good Ana play or heavy focused damage. Seems like he's in a decent spot for now. Still really looking forward to the Roadhog changes and more support changes, but damn it's really nice to see how the devs have decided to approach Season 2 since yesterday. Glad they're trying to turn it around.

I definitely agree on the roadhog stuff. Bro is pretty immortal if you don't have a team with the right counters. All we're really countering is the bleach he drinks that gives 350 hp

The best part is that he’s both mechanically challenging AND fun when understood. His kit is not unfair, and mistakes can easily be punished by smart teams, as with his ultimate being either a godsent or complete throw. No cheesy one-shots, no 7 second cooldown to dictate the entire pace of the lobby, just good design for both forms

I love the fact that even with all the buffs I still don’t think he’s busted you can’t be completely stupid when playing him you still have to time his entire kit to make it work instead of just being unkillable it’s a very aggressive playstyle and I love it

@@zacktheslayer6564 A lot of ultra are game changing in OT. E.g Kiriko, Mei, Sigma etc. Hell, Sigma’s últ lifts you off the point and ends overtime.

@@JJGateway01 yeah but you can literally back off the point for *just* a second, then come back. you cant do that with him. mei's ult can be countered in alot of ways, but more importantly, all you need is a healer healing your tank while they take the ult, and you'll be fine most the time. all you need is one person, frozen, on payload. kitikos ult doesnt do anything in that regards. orisas can be avoided by just standing on the other side of the payload. roadhogs can be eaten, deflected, ignored (orisa), hid from on the other side of the payload, or blocked.

@@JJGateway01 you know what you can do to ramattras? either sleep him *and* have a shield of some sort to break the connection, OR literally run away and most of your team dies. 2 options that either require specific hard counters, or literally nothing but sacrificing people, which makes it an ez win button.

Rammatra looks great! Seems like a B tier tank at LEAST, although I still dont like that his Void Zone thing doesnt really have a function, besides that it slows enemies a bit. I just throw it from creative places to get ult charge, and then i throw it behind enemies when i attack. Wish it was a bit more interesting.

I like how forcing Ramattra to Block with insane damage on him seems to be the way to shut down his Nemesis Form. Kiting and killing him in Nemesis Form was the old way of dealing with him before, but now you can't really kite him. It actually makes for a healthy game dynamic imo: hit your shots and kill him, or be run over. There were many times against old Ramattra where I played Cassidy, and a Grenade, Fan, Roll, Fan combo just outright killed him when he was rushing me. Good to know it won't be so easy for a single DPS's focus fire to just blow him up. He tends to need to rush into an entire team to get anything done in Nemesis Form, so it should probably take both DPS blasting him to take him down. Now Ramattra is the definition of "Kill or be killed".

Feel like the only thing they have left to do is to buff the verticle range of the vortex, it's a big skill shot to get it underneath a Phara or Echo, you should at least be able to actually pull then out of the sky as he was marketed.

The funny thing about Sojourn's weapon spread is that so far it doesn't feel like it hinders my accuracy that much (less headshots but I'm not that good anyway) and the only thing I've had trouble hitting with her weapon is Pharah but I have a feeling it might actually make it easier to hit her...
