Loona 1/3 is the first subunit of Loona, made up of Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul and Vivi. Yeojin was not able to participate because of school I think so sge isnt in a subunit. Loona subunits are important in their lore. Also running is very important in the lore. You see running in a lot of Loona music videos Heejin- First member, Bright Pink and rabbit animal. Her single was Vivid. Hyunjin- Second member. Yellow color and cat animal. Around You was her single. Haseul- Third Member. Color is green and her animal is a dove. Her single is Let Me In. Vivi- Fifth member. She is the only foreign member of Loona, she is Chinese. Pastel Pink color and her animal is a deer. Everyday I Love You is her single. In the lore, Vivi is an android.

the girls running around the track is metaphorical like you predicted!! it represents the girls being stuck on a möbius strip, or in more general terms, a time loop. looping is a huge motif in the loonaverse but you don't really need to worry about it yet! i'm positive you'll notice it on your own in later videos. but i love how thoughtful your videos are, great job!! also, i believe they filmed some of this video in new zeland, that's most likely the location with palm trees at the end!

LOONA 1/3 is indeed the name of the subunit! It's the most mundane-sounding name of the three LOONA units, and it fits how they're located on the Earth that we all know, as regular girls, in a regular school, singing about regular love-y stuff. In fact, remember that each member of LOONA 1/3 even has a designated country on Earth (France, Japan, Iceland... For Vivi's, you'll have to wait a bit) but I'll try to keep things within this video only. Well, they're all regular girls, save for one. The only one in LOONA 1/3 that uses a stage name... The robot/android with the special eye... The only one who's standing still at the start of the song, while the others are finding their breath... The one who gets the exact same time, every run (12.94, a fantastic detail @ 2:06 in your reaction, 0:25.6 in the MV)... Shoots perfect threes... Has a charging cable... Can't drink from a juicebox unlike the others (hence her stash of unopened juiceboxes)... (You'll see her solo soon! Amusing how we were introduced to a new LOONA member in the 1/3 unit MV before getting her solo MV, huh?) In Love&Live, the "Live" is pronounced like the live in "alive!" In the MV, the robot Vivi appears to want to fit in. Or perhaps more precisely, to feel alive like a regular human being like the other girls. It's an amusing play against the song itself, which is from the perspective of a regular girl expressing her regular love. At the beginning of the MV we heard those decidedly "alive-sounding" running sounds that you mentioned, right? We saw the passing bushes, trees, suburbs... By the end, we see Vivi running past the exact same things, and can infer that it's the sound of Vivi *breathing* after having disconnected from her battery and breaking free of the established track/circuit! Near the start of the MV, she was standing perfectly still while everyone else was totally tired. Yet by the end, it seems that she finally got to experience something in common with the other regular girls. Heavy breathing, after all, would indicate a beating heart ;) (Starting with LOONA 1/3 - Sonatine, you should check the KZbin video descriptions for each MV to see how BBC sets the scene for the given song/album)

Yes , like a lot of the comment section says running is important to the lore of the loonaverse . After their debut comprising all the members is hi high. Running in the mv implies the they are running towards each other to reach each other and become one group loona. And move forward together. This song marks the beginning of this that's why you can see a start line but no finishing line cuz this mv is not where loona end .

Vivi is an android she wasn’t always but she is in present time. She had a life before being an android, she dreams about it in everyday I love you. The description box of the mvs relay more information for almost all loona music vids. That explains their official lore. But it leaves room for interpretation.

I love that you said that in track you go in the same loop over and over because that's what the track in the MV represents lol it also ties into the mobius strip theory of the loonaverse. Vivi in the loonaverse is a robot and she is different from the other girls and yes, she feels alone it represents her being the only foreign member and barely being able to speak korean

In story- yes, she’s an android. In reality, it’s a thinly veiled metaphor for Vivi’s initial struggle to connect with the other girls as the only non-Korean member (she’s from China, in case anyone didn’t know, and wasn’t great at korean initially) I’ve seen theories that her running out of battery at the end is meant to symbolize her finally being able to relate to and connect with the other members as the opening shot of the video was them tired and exhausted after practice while she was fine cause android - but I don’t think that’s official
