We had a great adventure in August taking four Mokes from Mt Dare, down the Rig, up the K1 and into Poeppels, then North to exit at Jervois via the Hay River Track. All that on 120 litres capacity with fuel to spare at the end. Mokes rule 2WD 52/12 !

As a real remote living Australian, I will have some word's for these guy's, mostly love their content, but I live there sometimes and it's just BS and destructive to our tracks for views. If I come across them I'll have a beer with them and let them know how the local guy's feel about their activities.
@RepLicanT00100 Жыл бұрын
@@seancraven2361 .. interesting way to look at it all. Let’s not forget the other side of what these views and contents push’s too. Big advocates for CLEANING UP after the REAL terrors of the tracks. But I understand how someone would feel this way. But how far down the rabbit hole does one go and start thinking, finger pointing etc; at all the things that “ruin” our beautiful country ? Interesting discussion to have I think.

G60 for me. My old man had one when I was a kid. He used to have a private rubbish disposal business called Mr Neat. The G60 towed the trailer he used for years and years. It was custom made and would have weighed well over 5 tons fully loaded which it usually was. That thing would go up Plenty River Drive in Greensborough in 1st gear at about 5ks an hour, but up it would go, without fail. The definition of unkillable.

As much as the 47 looks cool being period correct and all, it might be worth putting a set of sunraysias on for the sand given how they can't be let down to those ultra low pressures. That and I couldn't imagine changing tubes in that heat with how often they tend to get flats, it's a lot of work and dangerous. Could always go for skinny white sunnies to stay period correct too 😁

The Jeep and Toyota guys are always teasing each other over here too. I have had Jeeps, Toyota's, Fords, Jeeps, all good stuff and lots of fun when you get to tug your buddy out. So correct me if I'm wrong Graham, the G60 lead them over the simo and back. But not only that you pulled the nearly 10 years younger cafe latte over the sand dune? The 3.olt Gu pullrd the V8 cruiser over the dune also ? and to top it off you also pulled both Toyo's over together, what a shame you couldn't see the snatch strap pulled that deep into the red dirt. lol.
