Hi Steven, another amazing old classic Loco from your collection. Its a great looking and running model, the Flying Scotsman Coaches are a good match for the Loco as its in the LNER livery. Your R56 runs very smoothly considering its age and is also quiet compared to some Triang Locos. Nice work on the mountains, the colouring is very typical of the outback ranges I have seen in films. Thanks for sharing more of your Locos and rolling stock. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏.

Thanks Paul. I have always liked that loco, the bloke who did the paint job was a real pro. It's an incredible runner for its ago. Got a bit to do on the scene, I'm just throwing it together as I go. I really should plan things better. Steven.

Hi Steven, the old Triang looks good in LNER livery and goes,s really well with the teak coaches. The back scene is looking really good, the trees look great. All the best butty. Carl.

Thanks Carl. The bloke that did the paint job really excelled. It is one of my favourites, it runs so smoothly. The scenic work is dragging on, waiting for paints and glue to dry. But I will get there. Steven.

That looks like the Baltic TC tank loco Steven, but it does look great in LNER livery and as you say, it runs superbly. The mountain scene is coming along very nicely but what happened to the other extension you were making? David.

It's a Baltic in disguise David. They aren't the most attractive model, but the fellow who did this transition knows his craft. It's one of the few locos that I have purchased from the UK. It was a buy it now for £75, it cost me another 22 quid in postage. That's about $140 Australian. But I liked the livery very much. I'm not sure I'd get my money back if I tried to sell it, which I won't be. I think these locos were operated in Queensland, New South Wales and New Zealand. The Kiwis referred to them as Wabb tank engines. I have halted my work on the front part of the layout as I want to make it quite a bit bigger than I originally planned. This will involve removing a wall and making a new laundry, but it will give me plenty of space. Go big or go home as they say. I want to have a line dedicated to my old Triangs, I have a heap of series 3 track in really good condition so they will be able to run alot more smoothly. I alo have about 30 point motors in working condition, so it will be good for shunting. Steven.
