nice demo paddy. I remember the first time I used my rough rider apta in VG10. I was breaking down a heavy cardboard box and hit a couple of large stables. They chipped the heck out of the blade, I was gutted. I was cutting the box hard just not realising they were in there. It sharpened up easy enough and took a razors edge for such a thick, chisel blade but lesson learned!

I liked the look of the scales on the rough ryder, and as it was a low price, I brought one not expecting too much, but as you say, it's a great little knife.

I've got that knife, keep it razor sharp. Great for slicing cheese, tomatoes, salami. Easy to sharpen.

Still my favourite field sharpener!! Perfect for victorinox steels too. Who needs magnacut - when you can get an edge back on a 440 steel in seconds!!!

I've always fancied that RR cowboy knife but I've never seen it at the right price. They don't carry it in the European stores and importing it from the UK to Spain would shoot up the price with p&p and import duty.
