Well done on your second go at the NYC marathon! Would love to be have been there again and maybe appearing in your video like last year. Unfortunately I was still here in Tas in a hospital bed with an autoimmune condition 😢. I am to be well enough to make it London at the end of April for their marathon.

Great video Steff. NY is unlike any of the other big city marathons I have run. The energy is crazy but so draining. It’s 10% harder than a race like London or the Paris marathons.

Just amazing. Great story telling of what is always, not matter how often you attempt it, a great achievement. I'm 10 weeks away from my second marathon and this has helped perk me up in an otherwise low (running) week.

I hope your training is going well, 10 weeks to go is still a long time, I loved the last 10 weeks of my training block. I wish you all the best, and hope you crush your marathon goals. Which one are you running?

❤️ The next big event will be pulling up to the hold short line in EYZ. I had an issue with my medical this year that wasn't an issue after all, but it took a while and a whole bunch of tests to figure that out. I got slightly teary when I the paperwork arrived from Transport Canada. I was decidedly teary holding short a few days later...
@stef7472 ай бұрын
Oh I can imagine that first flight back after your medical changes would have been a very emotional experience. Great to hear you're flying again, I certainly look forward to that day myself, thanks for sharing that.

How awesome is that! Congratulations Stef, quite the achievement, given your surgery. Your recovery, training and support from your family helped push you along and I'd imagine it would've felt great seeing your name on the list of runners. Do you know how much was raised for the charity you chose?
@stef7472 ай бұрын
Hey Luke, the charity entry for most charities including Team For Kids who I ran for is around the $3,000 USD mark. That's what I needed to raise to guarantee a place in the race. Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.
