Oh mate… I drove my 2 boys 500km to see our team Sixers lose to the Stars on Boxing Day 2023 (Maxwell hit a massive six bouncing off the roof of Bill Oreilly at SCG). But the boys still talk about it despite the loss. Nothing beats the bonding

No worries Stef …Just think , you will see England beat the Aussies in the Ashes series early next year . Hope to see you there wearing your Barmy Army regalia 😂
@generickiwiКүн бұрын
I hate to say it, but I feel the loss was quite probably karmic retribution for a certain shall-not-be-named someone failing to recognise the Spitfire as the greater of the two aircraft. Sigh.

G,day from Sydney. Well, they say- "two engines are better than one" especially for speed or flying over mountainous terrain. Yoke time, stick time; what a great philosophy you have young lady 🍒🍒🍍🍓

Can we freely fly over Parliament House, without restriction? (@2:25) Or does it require special ATC clearance?
@stef747Күн бұрын
It’s within the Canberra Approach Class-C control zone, but apart from that clearance there are no additional restrictions for flight over the top.

Nice, counter rotating props... And yes, you're daughter is correct, it's the Mustang...

Looks like a fun trip! As for the Big Question...no question the Spitfire is pretty and gets the love. The Spitfire kept the Allies from losing WW2. They couldn't have won it without the Mustang.

Not yet, but he should. It would be called “annoyingly good landings with Steven”.

Bad luck about the cricket, maybe next year. As a local Canberran, you'll find most of them down the South Coast, around Batemans Bay plus anywhere north and south of there. More of a ghost town than usual.

The bridge work and detours are a bit of a kerfuffle. I've done it several times and still seem to end up on a slightly different route each time. Not completely mad though, because some accidental detours have led to good discoveries. Next time, keep an eye out for seals anywhere before Dight's Falls.

I was on a flight from Arlanda to Newark in 2018. I was carrying a small sample of my Mother’s ashes in a jar in my luggage. SAS lost the suitcase, and it was never located. Needless to say I was livid. I scream loud and long to this very day. SAS is the worst airline there is!!!!

Loved the video! Very entertaining but also informative with regards to the current QF PE seat, cabin and inflight service. I think, to avoid the dreaded seat recline from the passenger in front of you, the front row bulkheads seats might be the best to book. I flew (in the 2000s) the original QF PE seat twice to Europe, and that seat was excellent; the new seat appears just as good. I may give it a run in 2025.

5:13 just to clarify, MYKI card is a smart card used on ALL public transport in Victoria so that's trams, trains (not v-line trains) and buses. And the trams are the only public travel service that has a free-fare zone within the CBD so no need to use the MYKI. I love the public transport we have in Melbourne. I've never needed a car since I arrived here in 2007 so my drivers license is only used for proof of I.D. Great channel btw 👍👍👍

There is a local shopping centre behind the Burwood Hwy shopping facade at the end of the line. Originally the line was to be extended to Knox City Shopping centre, another 5km further along the Burwood Hwy. The problem with South Vermont is that there is no park and ride facility. I can clearly remember when this line finished at Warrigal Rd Burwood. Then it was extended to Middlebrough Rd, then Burwood East adjacent to the Kmart. Then, finally to Vermont South. There is a medium strip all the way to Knox City and beyond. This route could virtually go all the way to Upper Ferntree Gully and terminate at Upper FTG Railway station.
