I enjoy watchin the circle mill even though I've never been around one myself. Anyone who don't think that sawmill work is some hard physical work oughta try it some time! My band sawmill is homemade and pretty much all me. Enjoyed the video!

I have been to dozens of sawmills in my former job, and have never seen a drag system in the Northeast, but plenty of them on the internet, may be a Southern thing

I went to work at a mill in 2001. They had just replaced their 60-inch circle sawmill with an 11-inch bandsaw. But they hadn't replaced the old carriage yet and it had a figure board on it. The old sawyer wouldn't tell me anything about reading it. It was some kind of "secret" or something, or so he thought. Thanks for the explanation!

Enjoy the old circular saw but it does look somewhat dangerous at times. I’m not too worried because I know you have years of experience with it. Those greens looked delicious, congratulations on the garden.

Travis, I was wondering if you could tell us how you determine the cuts on a log. I watch you sawing the logs into lumber and just wonder how you lay out the logs in your head or what? You two are very talented. Best wishes and blessings.

How profitable could you become as a home building contractor furnishing all the lumber and the materials & crew used to build a home? Perhaps you could design & build a complete subdivision of your designer homes 2200 to 1900 sq. ft. all with hip roofs and attached garages?

I enjoy your videos, but I can’t figure how a 31+ year old can state that he’s been doing it a long time. ie professional horse trainer, professional angler, professional sawyer, welder (lot to be learned), auto mechanic, carpenter I mean I could go on. Partner you shouldn’t be so conceded. No one believes that you are a professional anything but yourself. It’s good to dream though!
@davidmuise38811 сағат бұрын
Hey Mr Tyler you know what would make a nice fun filled video???? You do a good size log on the circle saw And Mrs Brit do the same size on the wood miser and time both your sawing and see which one is faster ????? Just for shits and giggles I think it would be very interesting …..what do you guys think ????? Just a crazy suggestion And thank you for this video it’s pretty damn awesome loved it thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
