The voiceovers tied your story together and just gave this such a strong vibe that literally idk how else i can praise you for this. I usually have my words together but I think this without a doubt is definitely your best work, it got me to shed a tear and i don't appreciate that. Like i said on twitter, you been carrying the community with your wonderful masterpiece even when it was dead. So seeing you having all that attention and getting noticed by your fav makes me so happy cause you truly deserve it! Okay let’s talk about the music video. This was so unique and emotional? I don’t know if its the song or just your amazing ability to tell a story through a mv but chilee it made me feel sad & happy. Tori did what needed to be done with these FX, cause they played a huge role and made your mv look like an Art. 2:46 has been on loop excessively fr fr! And those flashbacks with the riott squad did make me sob. Serves after serves, you slayed. It felt like watching a sequel of Megan’s Ruby Riott MV.

now THIS? this was just tew good, my love. the constant flashbacks to liv’s former partners as well as her character’s past mistakes before leading up to the climax of her career? well executed. i just might have to hop back into the lab for a quick second, hold awn.

lol my mum used to lock us in the lounge room and make us watch random vhs' of kate bush' music videos while she was hungover, so this new affinity of the song is splendid, but your editing paralleled her songwriting style in such a direct way that i'm lowkey speechless. all of kates flagship songs are purely impersonal and narratives (wuthering heights, this song, babooshka) and you completely cut through that by telling an impersonal narrative of liv's journey, which i find to be so artistic, correct and truly paying homage to the media. on top of that, the use of 4:3 ratio for a song pre 16:9 capabilities was genius as well. the build up into the remix was also such a smart way to climax the MV, into a focal point, an ending for the story you wanted to tell. i've waffled on about absolutely nothing for long enough, but reGARDLESS, i'll continue, the album this was on, hounds of love, has a v strong affinity with ascension, the sky and thunderstorms (the big sky and cloudbusting are prime examples), so the use of the lightning fx was so correct and intelligent. i've spend 35 goddamned days commending the intelligent creative choices because, and even if they weren't intentional, they were perfect, so i'll move onto your editing lmfao. i love love love that monochrome overlay you did in the first verse, i usually find that nooby af and a weird way to use 18 clips to lyric sync for one line, but the way you did it as an echo was fantastic. your flow is always vegan butter, and every clip seemed so intentional, this was just a masterclass in conceptual editing. like this was javier levels of thought out, well done arlene, truly a fantastic mv (sorry for the 594938 line comment with 50% being about kate bush for no reason lmao) kudos tho.

I feel like I just got out of the theatre watching a new trailer for an epic film that's set to release. You absolutely nailed every element of this MV. From the storytelling to the effects to the clip selection, everything was paced and flowed perfectly. I loved the overlay's and how they corresponded to the music beats, but also within the story you were telling as well. While this is a career MV, you actually made this feel different from the formula by focusing on her character and how her character evolved through her relationship's and finally that EPIC transition, I was NOT expecting that and it just soared this video into a whole new element. I was so teary eyed watching this and with the voice over of Becky and Rhea that led to the climax, literal ART. I'm so proud to see how much your work has evolved and this was a true showcase of that, amazing work bestie

from the second you first sent me this i KNEW it’d blow up and i sure was right! this is absolutely outstanding. first off, i love how you used the stranger things remix. it gave the mv such a cinematic feel while also giving off that same intense feeling that i felt while watching the show as well. the added details throughout like the zoomed-in side b&w clips in the verses were so unexpected but worked amazingly. there’s so many moments in this that wow’ed me, like the “watch me!” voiceover at 2:46 literally gives me CHILLS. obsessed with the clips at 1:11, 1:31, 3:09 and that “swap our places” bit at 1:58. thank you for letting me be apart of this masterpiece by doing the fx, they’re probably one of my favs that i’ve done recently. i’m seriously so inspired rn. you put your all in this and it shows

From the day you sent to the preview to uploading it I literally was so happy and for days this was all I could think about. All of your videos I love and cherish with all my heart, but this one really really made me cry and I was happy with that.
