Well it’s not too hard to pretend to get choked or pretend things are falling down! That’s what VFX is for. Granted, facial expressions were spot on! But she just has to run and like fall over a few times, then the VFX artists render the rocks falling to her movements on screen.

yea i think a lot of ppl unintentionally think that “oh it must be easy to get in the zone and feel the emotions of ur character while acting” but its honestly super hard bc almost everything is made from the computer so u need to use ur imagination and acting skills soo much. plus, its even harder with a show like this bc nothing happening in the show is like “relatable” like how many ppl r taken captive to an alternate dimension and have to listen to music to run out of a monsters lair 💀 so honestly sadie and all the cast r amazing actors

I know Sadie Sink was in this scene a lot but nobody in the comments are giving credit to the stunt double. Everyone was talking how “Sadie sink” was falling in the puddles, being pulled by the rope. The stunt double did all those. They cut it perfectly and cut it to Sadie sink. The stunt double wasn’t even supposed to fall in the puddles. Just run and almost trip. But they wanted the best for the show and improvised and fell into that liquid. I’m not saying Sadie Sink isn’t a good actor. But the stunt double needs more appreciation.
