I have done the wings for life race twice in Melbourne Australia. We started at 9pm on a Sunday night. First attempt I got 26.4km and 2nd time 25.2km. An amazing experience. You never know how far you are going to get. It is the only race I know of that when you finish first you actually finish last.

Sarah obviously had a nice drive to/at work. Uggh this hailstorm, poor souls! Memories of run for life 2021. Training in winter and chilly spring then suddenly raceday was the hottest day in ages. Starting at 1 p.m. what a glorious sufferfest it was. I think I started for Team Running Channel(?) but memory is sketchy here. Will there be one?
