Just a question about applying tips. Dorota why don't you use gel and a UV lamp to adhere them instead of glue? I bought an extra lamp just in case mine dies like yours did during filming. You have them available because you are in a salon. Most home DIYers wouldn't think to buy an extra back up just in case you are in the middle of working on nails and this happens. Looking forward to the nail art because you always come up with awesome ideas and designs. Thanks for all the tips and tricks especially using the nail bit in a different way to make sure the product is not touching the skin!

That's such a great question! I would use both (glue or gel). I get what you're saying on the lamp! But every since I always here the pros saying it's great to have 2 incase something like that happens you can finish your set! So I just ended up buying 2! I get a back up every other yr when Young Nails has there yearly sale so I don't have to worry about that happening as well. I'm a enthusiast myself!

They came out looking great in the end! It's a shame your lamp broke on you though! Same thing happened to me when I was doing my latest set lol. Love the look of those tips! I've been using tips lately with the same deep C curve as these and they do look gorgeous! I stopped using glue to adhere my tips a couple of years ago though. I switched to using base coat and I feel like that makes them much more secure. Can't wait to see the pink and purple nails! 🩷💜💅🏻

I've never heard of using base coat to adhered tips! They don't pop off or get a bunch of air pockets?

@victoriakillman9862 no, not if you apply it correctly. Lissette Cruz shows how to do it in many of her videos if you're curious. I think it's a much better way of putting tips on.

@Nails_By_Kimberlee I've seen her do that, but she also uses that peel off base coat and don't keep them on for longevity! I was just curious of the longevity of doing it that way!

@victoriakillman9862 they definitely last. I personally think they last better than with using glue. Give it a try on one nail the next time you do a fresh set. Everyone that I've talked to who's tried base coat instead of glue has ended up switching to base coat. Plus that's one less product to have to keep around lol

Holy Crow I must have huge man hands. My thumb is almost always a zero. And sadly many brands zero is too small! I do have arthritis more in one hand and so that index finger is a size larger than the other hand! Crazy
