If I was in the woods I'd definitely go Surron. For city and cruising, I'd prefer the Ego because that thing is SO comfortable and quiet. The fact that it's not as recognizable as the Surron makes it less of a police magnet... but if you have it registered, it's not an issue.

@@Altema22 There's something friendly about the silhouette of the EGO I think. Paired with quietness, it's almost less aggressive looking even though it can rip.

Why do they put noisy, messy chains on electric bikes? Sure belts are slightly less efficient but they're quiet, maintenance free and don't require lube.

@@6Twisted if your doing some aggressive off roading, dirt, sand and mud can cause a belt to slip. The primary Surron belt can also snap when stunt riding. Those are the reasons off the top of my head. I'm sure there's more. It's not just noise that Surron riders factor in when using a chain.

i know it maybe difficult but man i hope you convert the Soleil01 it needs a top speed of 45 mph i’ve been told a controller and battery is all it needs the motor can handle more but i’m a noob so i can’t confirm. lol
