As I understand it a parking brake has been added to this model. All the same I'm saving for an Etrike and it's between this one and the Addmotor E310. The Addmotor does have more power and range, but this one costs a bit less and it has a hitch mount, so, not sure just yet.

I just got a TK-1 folding Mooncool trike and it came with parking brake levers built into the brakes so it can be stopped on an incline without rolling. Nice review. Thank you so much for all the great detail work on this trike.

@@silverlining1934 - I would highly recommend the Mooncool TK-1 Folding Trike. I now have 350 miles on mine and have loved every minute of riding it. You have to get used to how a trike handles around curves, bumps, and the crown of the road you are on, but once you spend some time with it I think you will love it.

Awesome video, and if I was in the market for an e-trike, this would be one of my top picks. The lack of a parking brake is an odd oversight, but the turn signal is a nice touch. For me, the best usage would be a runabout for short trips, especially on ice like we have right now. The common downside to trikes is that they typically take up the entire sidewalk, or the majority of a bike path. Can't complain about the cargo capacity... it looked like that log wasn't even in there!

Using pedal assist at what speed do you you feel you are ghost pedaling? I want to be sure I can get exercise with help when going uphill or against a strong wind. I mostly will pedal on flat. Thanks for the review.

I've learned to ride itin PAS 4 without ghost pedaling, that's at about 13.2 mph. PAS5 is a little more challenging at 15.5 mph. Fortunately cruise control helps at PAS5 so you don't even have to pedal.

I thought about the weight. I would try a mobility cart bumper hitch hauler but the outer width of the trike is a little over 30 inches and all the haulers platforms are a bit over 27 inches so the trike wheels are too wide. Now what? I'm 77 and can't lift the thing into my pick up.

Nobody mention that , while your cruising, holding the "-" button for 5 seconds puts you into CRUISE CONTROL. Pressing the brake disengages it. Check and see!

I wish someone would talk about the customer service. Very important for a trike that cost $1500. So far I've seen s few bad ones like no response or gaslighting.
