I'm with you on that. It's super smooth on modulation and packed with options. Even some quirky ones. I like it and can recommend it. Receivers are also waterproof!

it's a old HobbyPlus CR18 LC80 body. Not sure if its still available but the body was available for purchase separately so maybe you might be able to find one.

unfortunately I dont, I got them in a trade. The wheels are injora brass beadlock wheels and the tires are a no name amazon special tire I'm guessing. They have the same thread pattern as one of the injora tires.

I tried installing mine from my trx4m but it just didn't seem to mesh properly and kept getting it skipping teeth so i need to try and find a 12t pinion for it

mine meshed ok but the new Torpedo system seem to mesh a little better and the cedar motor runs quiter.

i got the wheels and tires in a trade. The tires are weird named but soft and pretty good for some no name tires. They say something like MRCLAW TIRE on the side and they are a smaller diameter tire than the stock redcat tires. More like TRX4m sized tires but slightly wider and the wheels are some injora brass wheels. Sorry I don't know the part #s

I got my ascent the other day did all the free mods to it and I’m still not to excited about it the hobby plus evo pro crawles 10000% better out of the box for 60 extra bucks also the upgrades are cheaper for the evo pro

I see Ascent 18 as more of a trail crawler than a pure competition crawler that the Evo Pro is. Plus the Evo pro is more similar to the Vanquish Stance VRD like mini version of it with its servo on axle set up. If Vanquish can just a 1/18 versions as well it'd be golden. You can complain of any brand I agree because it's your opinion and your money but we are so spoiled these days of so many brands and types of RCs than when I was a kids starting it in 1989. I'm even interested in RC speedboats now.

The Redcat - Ascent 18 is an entry level trail crawler. To compare it to a FX118 Fury Wagon, FX118 Katana, or CR18P Evo Pro is pretty silly being that they are comp rigs in all honesty.
