Business doesn’t work that way my friend. A company have stake holders, and the will need to pay them back, sooner or later. So in the meanwhile, we can play with their toys, either we use it for fun or we actually find some real world applications, that’s not their problem. They proposed a product. I think, the prices may even go up for these generative models.

@@vladartiomav2473I hear you, but if there’s no real control over my renders then it’s not worth paying for it. When I animate in after Effects I have total control. When I design in photoshop I have total control. With AI, not so much control. But I hear you!

@@tapiamotion_ae_vfx_tutorials Totally agree with you. When I create a scene in a 3D application, I have more that total control. No generative model comes even close to the control I have, even if it is cumbersome and slow compared to just make a prompt. Those who won't find any use of AI models in their pipeline won't pay for it. So the companies will have to focus on features that actually make sense in terms of return on investment, not the beta testing features for billions of dollars.

So far it's a 100 miles from where it needs to be. I can't even take basic promps. I put in a picture of a man sitting in front of windows and asked for a dog's head to appear the window to the right of the subject and then disappear. Well, 50 credits later and the subject is moving but no dog. I didn't ask for the subject to move and it did that and I asked for a dog and no dog. How in the world is this ready to ship?

I've been using Pixverse but tonight I got a Runway account. In the first few video clips I've made the clarity of the images seems sharper than Pixverse but what I don't understand is, Runway generates at 720p! Pixverse will do 4K. So what is going on with Runway? Do they not generate 2K or 4K video clips??

Tested Runway AI for a month and found it very expensive, with mostly useless results. It feels like pure luck to get something usable, and you’re charged every time. The platform needs significant improvement, especially considering the high number of credits required to achieve a proper result = (

Ah! Finally someone is talking about this. What is going on with Runway only making 720p? Pixverse makes 4k! That said, however, the images created on Runway tend to be just as clear or clearer than the High Res images on Pixverse. So I'm confused. Runway has a custom audio feature that I need that Pixverse doesn't have or I probably wouldn't bother with it.
