The more I learned about Michelle the more I loved her, she seems like a really kind, down to earth girl and wise. I don't think of Michelle as a celeb I see her as the person she is.

I'm learning a lot from RuPaul. She is teaching me to love myself more. I experienced a lot of homophobia growing up in a small town, and I took that hate on board. It turned into depression, and drug addiction, and not taking care of myself. RuPaul says loving yourself is a daily practice, because you're always going to have that negative voice in your head - the saboteur . You need to practice countering that negative voice with a positive attitude and doing things that are good for you.

I honestly don't remember her singing career, but when she was singing I was out playing with rocks with my neighbours. However when I did learn about her I instantly felt love, I felt safe. I felt like "she's a woman who if I end up totally wrecked on a night out hitting the bars, she's gonna be the one to get me in a taxi home and make sure I'm good". I love her in drag race, I feel like she's found her home and I am so glad it's within the LGBT community because she is a champion of all of us. I absolutely adore her.
