You did a great job Aman! Really enjoyed your takes on the firefighters and everyone having some queer appearance somewhere in their lives. The show actually did a great job of talking about it all without making it feel like a sob-fest this time around. And I completely agree with you both on Angelique - less clothes!

shannel and angeria are giving some kind of all stars 1 scenario where the queens had to take 2 completely different runway packages and then all of a sudden have to be on a team with a random queen they picked on the spot

Plastique never said she spent 250k on her looks for the season. Naysha Lopez said it at Roscoe's that it was rumored.

It was definitely terrible judging. I think the makeover is a way for the judges to give a win to the queens they are rooting for, or to even the playing field to make the competition closer than it really is. As for what makes a good makeover, yah, they never follow through on what they say. The ‘family’ resemblance needs to be there but they can’t be too exact or too different, unless that’s okay. Huh? For a girl group, what makes them ‘look like they are a group’? With Destiny’s Child, or the Supremes, yah, they did tend to dress the same, with the Pussycat Dolls, they sort of dressed like the same style, but the looks were quite different and then you’ve got the Spice Girls where they each had a very different look to represent a different type of woman. So really you could do just about anything and call yourself a girl group… by referencing a group that either dressed the same or dressed completely different. I thought Plastique’s group was the best of both worlds… they were different enough, with their own signature colour, but they had similar through lines with their garments. Maybe Plastique needed some black like the other two had just to make it even clearer, but it felt cohesive and Angelique was by far the best makeover and performer. As for the lyrics in the songs, I can never hear them clearly enough so I can’t judge as to which group had the best lyrics.
