Thorgy didn't slay Stevie the look was there, yes I'll admit she did a good job, but she didn't have the right attitude, as she said during or after critiques "she didn't feel like Stevie was a LGBTQ+ diva or icon" so this impacted her performance. I do agree though that Milk should have been in the bottom that was a terrible Celine Dion.

She would’ve benefitted from a microphone stand to recreate something similar to Stevie’s live performances of “Rhiannon” in the late 70s though. I’m not sure why they chose to take an 80s Stevie Nicks direction with the song when 70s Stevie Nicks would’ve been a lot more comedic.

Watching this again, thorgy suffered from being put between shangela and dela who both knocked it out of the park. Most of the performers would have suffered between those two so she had to really, really, really, really, REALLY stand out. When she was just good. Which would be more than enough to be safe next to any of the other contestants.

I literally GREW UP on Stevie Nicks and Stevie Nicks alone until I was about 14. Not even kidding. When they said Thorgy didn’t do enough as Stevie I was legit shocked. This is why I hate musicals where they don't get to choose their characters, like in AS2 and AS3. It's VERY EASY to set people up to fail, like Katya, Ginger and Thorgy, and to win, like Alyssa, DeLa and Shangela. Even though in most of the other musicals there's better and worse parts, the queens can choose the part, or be set up by other queens and not by production.

Barely anyone is talking about how well Trixie did. Ik it's expected of her cuz it's Dolly but to hold and pretend to play a guitar while also doing those dance moves in heels is impressive. Even in her background parts she was so good! I guess the judges/producers wanted her to seem like an underdog/unexpected but Tracy was killing the season from the start she was just robbed of being the top in some challenges imo.

I said this: AS3 was setup in a way they didn't try to hide it at all, that was to shocase Shangela and bebe (mostly bebe, Shangela was a highlight even when she got in the bottom on that show), to give Trixxie the win because she was mostly safe the entire show so she didn't send anyone home and that's it. Dela was an anomaly, I'm pretty sure they never knew she was SO GOOD.

A crude Julie Andrews, a full comedy skit Mariah. Meanwhile Thorgy has to lip-sync "spin with me," gets given choreography to spin and was expected not to spin and feign dizziness? Milk does the assignment, comes out wearing that and is safe? Kennedy forgets the words? Bebe gets laughs ONLY because she is playing Diana Ross? Thorgy wasn't the most talented queen in the cast, sure, but even with the power of editing... Some queens were set up to win and fail. For me, Aja is the real winner here. She was given a less favourable part, she did the best she could and she did it damn well. The make up, the look, the exaggerated movements and facial expressions. Everything was on point besides the lyrics and the choreo, and that was all Todrick.

AS3 was manufactured to: Show Shangela's growth. Give Bebe the spotlight she never had (because let's be serious, no one ever knew who she was when she appeared in S7 for that shot with all the crown queens). Give Trixxie the Crown. That's it. Dela was the anomaly, they weren't expecting her to be so fucking genial on the show, to the point they were forced to create a twist just to make sure Trixxie would win and thank god the Crew were so Stunned that Dela did what she did that they didn't try to force her to grab a liptsick and all forcing herself to retire herself without giving Rupaul the chance to say 'if you come to my house, I expect you to respect me bitch' like she did before when The Vixen tried to say no to her bullshit. I love Trixxie, don't get me wrong, she's not the worst, but from Raw Tallent on S3? Dela, Shangie and AJA. Those were the ones who had talent and should be the top 3. That's it. They know so damn hard that the Twist was hated by everyone that they preffered to give the crown to two queens on AS4 the crown instead. They know they would kill the show if they tried another stunt like that. You never give the ones who lose, the right to vote who should win. They will vote for the weakest one, the one who never sent anyone home. Simple.

To me the problem isn't the challenges, it's the way AS3 was set up. They never even TRIED to hide the fact that the show was rigged AND was made to: Showcase two queens who were lost in time, Bebe and Shangela and make Trixxie Win. Because, let's be real: The queen was SAFE the entire fucking show and she won a crown because she was safe. That's it. She never took anyone out, so she got a free pass. The look on Shangela's face when she sees that she was set up was hearbreaking. XD

Thorgy was the one who chose to not do much movement and to be really stagnant with her role because she was too obsessed with how the real Stevie acts. It’s a character. Todrick tried to do a more dynamic routine for her but Thorgy shut him down because the real stevie doesn’t dance around a lot. She assisted in her own downfall.

It is Thorgys fault kinda. She made blocking so difficult because she wanted to be Stevie EXACTLY. She was very pushy with todrick that Stevie doesn’t dance around and yada yada instead of trying to play up the character and stand out. She was wrapped up in her own thoughts and so she missed out on an opportunity to make a seemingly dull character great. I mean. She could have done a lot more than just shuffle back and forth and spin for a few seconds.

As much as I think it was rigga morris and some of the characters were deliberately written to be funny, while others were a struggle to make entertaining, I think I know why Thorgy wasn’t it 🤔 I’m a huge Fleetwood Mac and Stevie fan: Thorgy missed the joy out of it 🤔 Whilst I think it was a typically good impression - the look was spot on for example, she didn’t really smile. 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️ Stevie has this free spirit aura about her, like she’s just eternally chill about life 😂👌🏻 the gag about being dizzy from all the spinning was a missed opportunity I think. If she had spun faster and smiled and swayed around like she was high at a concert (think “Misty from AHS Coven”), then didn’t stop spinning until the dizzy gag, it would have hit harder. Then she could have really hammed up being dizzy 😂 I think her nerves about not reeeeeally understanding Stevie Nicks as a performer was stressing her out, and you could see on her face she wasn’t confident in it. I think Thorgy is great in general. I just think this lost the essence of who Stevie is (even if the content was a struggle to make interesting). It’s the same as Milk in some ways. She chose to do a Celine that ISNT easily identifiable as Celine unless you’re a devoted fan 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️ I always think of Celine as a blonde, and a little bit kooky 😂 Shes sort of dorky but she gives no fucks and that’s one reason people love her 😂 Milk was playing Milk, dressed up as an obscure Celine, rather than playing Celine 🤓

Nah Trixie was only just ok in this challenge and bad at Snatch Game. In every other challenge she was good to great

VHBC did I say horrible, no. All I said was she was there. In the competition she did not make that much of an impact. In my opinion.
