It was a high risk high reward situation. Pull it off and you're likely to win the challenge. Mess it up and you're in the bottom 2. Jan did well, but as someone who has been a fan of Madonna since 1984, I can say she wasn’t the best. Her singing was great, but if you know this early era of Madonna, you’d know the dancing was not really done that well, and that high kick that she barely got past her knees was rough. Jan’s energy was too ‘cute’ but Madonna even back then was more raunchy. Gigi captured the essence of Madonna’s charisma more. I think that’s why she won.
