The no personality just got accepted after Pearl's extreme 'no personality' personality came thru. So yes, Sasha was lucky in her era that Ru was more open to these type of queens

She was simply not loud, jumpy or had an opinion on every subject, and she did not need to be on the spotlight every fucking second like silky (who is an extreme example mind you). Sasha went all the way to the top out of raw talent. Ofcourse there is some people who don't get her drag or they have a preconceived notion of how a Queen should be. She won largely because of that. Cause she had to be no one else but Sasha. The quiet, cerebral, respectful and unique Sasha. This entire concept ''of no personality'' in general is fucking stupid and degrading to all the people who are shy or prefer not to be on the spotlight. Ru was extremely disrespectful and outdated with the way he handled Pearl. If she is not what you want her to be, just let her be who she is, Jesus. This is literally one of the ''lessons'' the show is preaching. Just be you. You can be engaging without being the atrocity Silky was. I am glad she got shut down.
