Still waiting for the video of kamikaze backing plates. Quite interested in the 3 inch backing plate for the duetto. If it works as good as they described it, it will bring the versatility to another level.

We have a general video coming out of the backing plates, but we won't do one just on the 3" for the Duetto just because it's a small market item. From MY personal experience though, it's a fantastic product as it takes the 3" polishing to an entirely new level.

I’m considering on purchasing a Rupes Duetto as a car detailing enthusiast
@Esotericdetail5 жыл бұрын
The Duetto is a great choice for the enthusiast. It's not too much of a machine, and it's powerful and versatile enough for a professional detailer as well. We sell it individually, or in a one-step kit with curated pads and polishes.

ESOTERIC , thank you for the information. It’s very much appreciated. I’m still considering between the Duetto and the MKIII 15

another great video todd!!

Thank you! Do you have a favorite so far?
@danlc957 жыл бұрын
This one is my favorite. It has higher opm than even the MK 2 tools, so it's definitely no slouch in friction generation. I've used the 21, and prefer the Duetto. Not a fan of the longer body styles of the 21 and 15.

Yes, the Duetto is a fantastic machine indeed. When we have our students use it for the first time, you can just tell from the looks on their faces how much they like them as well.

ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing - I would imagine they're surprised at how well it performs!

Lhr 12 duetto vs Lhr 75 E which one would you recommend and why?
@Esotericdetail6 жыл бұрын
It's not a choice between these two, as they're designed for two different applications. The Duetto is used for all of the main / large sections, and the 75 is designed for tight areas specifically. Most people will have both...

Todd, I'm 65 and haven't worked a buffer in a long time. I want the machine with the least amount of vibration. My list is down to the Griots G9 or the Duetto. Which one is the best for older hands and arms? Thank you.
@Esotericdetail4 жыл бұрын
The Italian machines are typically better balanced than the Chinese ones.

Can we get a review on the new triple action tools please?
@Esotericdetail6 жыл бұрын
We just received the new tools, so we need some time with them before doing a video.

Hi Todd, does the 12E Duetto with a 3" Kamikaze backing plate works the same as the Rupes 75E mini? Like similar power? I have a Rupes 15 already, debating if I should get the Duetto + a 3" backing plate or just a 75E mini.
@Esotericdetail7 жыл бұрын
The Duetto with the 3" backing plate will out-perform the 75E, however keep in mind that since the head of the machine is bigger, you can't get it into tighter areas like you can the 75E.

ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing Hi Todd, do you know when the Kamikaze 3" backing will be back in stock?

I’ve a question, how many Rupes Yellow pads would I need to one step polish an LR4 with this machine? Thanks
@Esotericdetail4 жыл бұрын
We would probably use 6-8 5" pads, and 4-6 3" pads...
@Playingbyear4 жыл бұрын
@@Esotericdetail thanks Todd, can you fit 3” backing plate to the Duetto or are you talking about using the 75 for the 3” pads?

Is this gear driven like a Flex or like a Porte Cable where it’s free spinning?
@Esotericdetail7 жыл бұрын
These are not gear driven...they are true random orbital machines.

Duetto vs their 15ES other than size and 12mm vs 15mm orbit area?
@Esotericdetail4 жыл бұрын
The ergonomics are different on the two machines, and somebody may prefer one over the other. The Duetto may be less intimidating for somebody new to polishing.

please please do this for the mini and nano as well :)

ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing Thanks! I've recently switched to using Sonax Ex 04-06 as my only finishing and 1 step polish. after seeing you guys get the results you get from it and it has been working amazing.
@Esotericdetail7 жыл бұрын
If you like the 04-06, you should purchase Perfect Finish from us as it works even better!
@JonFFavale7 жыл бұрын
ESOTERIC - Fine Auto Finishing hmm maybe I'll put an order in today. I heard 04-06 was meant for the DA but I'll give Perfect Finish a try as well. I'll probably get one of those drying mitts too!
@Esotericdetail7 жыл бұрын
If you haven't already, please check out our video on Perfect Finish. "Made for a D/A" is not what matters...it's what performs the best that matters. You'll really like the upgrade in performance, as well as the ease of use. As for the Gyeon drying mitts, those are indeed very cool items. Thanks in advance for the order!

As this is 3 years old is it worth waiting for a 2nd generation to come out for this? Thanks for the video!
@Esotericdetail7 жыл бұрын
It's a great machine, and for us, waiting for a 2nd generation never crosses our minds.
