RURAL BEACH CAMP - Running OUT OF FOOD AND WATER

Welcome back to another episode and thank you for being here!
In this Episode we are in Eucla, WA. We arrived here 5 days ago and it was honestly everything that we could have dreamt of.
The campsite we had was beautiful, private, a short walk to the beach.
We really felt a sense of happiness in the morning waking up to this rural beach camp and when going to bed seeing how bright the stars were.
Although, We were quickly running out of food and water.
Eucla has very limited shopping facilities, the only we found was there Eucla Caravan Park which only offers the basics.
After we had all our fresh produce taken during crossing the border due to quarantine we were starting to struggle.
The biggest concern though was water.
We checked Wiki Camps and there wasn't a water supply for 296kms.
When this video was filmed we only had 20 Litres remaining which was not going to get us through.

I'm worried about you guys. How do you keep running out of water? This is really dangerous. Please be careful. You are too reliant on shops. Please plan carefully, you need to have extra water and food incase something happens.

its all for the views, like the border crossing, they were warned multiple times by people, but still acted like they didnt know when they crossed and lost all their fruit and veg

Soft sand 10 psi. Forward and back on the spot man to compact the sand. Momentum is the key on soft sand hold high revs and tyres down no erratic corner's while tyres down low. Love your content.

Here is a tip for you. Greek yogurt and self raising flour for a pizza base. Mix = parts. Flour your tray and part cook b4 you place toppings on it. That is a longhorn beetle. Harmless

Think you might be showering too often... we tripped around the Eyre last year off grid and may not have showered for 2 weeks 🤫 Swim in the ocean and save ya water for drinking!

The missus and I use 2 pieces of flat bread as the base, bloody beautiful, as for food and water, that's something you pick up the longer your on the road as to how long it will last.

Tips for water, when showering turn your shower off once wet, wash then turn on to rinse. Even have a plastic tub in there to catch water and use it when shower turned off to wash till rinse stage.🤙

when you head down to esperance - head back east along the coast to membinup beach - about an hour back east along the coast on the other side of the national park - beach camp/free camp/off grid back in the dunes ... BEST SPOT EVER - try and get into Duke of Orleans for a power hookup and water inbetween if needed.

You can buy water bladders that are moulded to fit on the floor in the back seat or buy one to put in back off car for your water supply

How come you have run out of water...you should have been able to get water from the caravan park or if there are taps near the border control area. If you are going to travel across outback Australia you need to be better prepared.

Do yourselves a favour & change your outdoor mat to a C Gear one. Not the same styled but it will keep the sand away. Any sand that goes on it just disappears through it. Means virtually no sand to bring into the van

Under 20 litres of water left and 300kms to the nearest water point 😮 with kids . Its well over 30c everyday. 2 adults should be showering in the ocean and kids should be having spondge baths. What if u crack a radiator hose on a branch or something? How u gana fill the cooling system up on the car ? Come on guys your better then this. No uhf kms up the beach . Could be bogged at any second with kids in the car and no one around. Atleast luke recognised that not enough oil will make the pizza to crispy 😂 fuck the boat off and the 50 kg motor. Theirs another 200 litres of water could carry. Swap the boat out for a 30kg kayak. Powered milk , instead of straight from the teet. Make your own bread , you dont even need yeast. Absoutle min water supplys should be 100 litres. When u get to 100 litres left . U need more water. Satire level 1000 😂 # 🍌🍌🍌🍌's. Im switching off. But will stay subbed to lukes fishing channel

What a nightmare with sand in the van 🤮 Get a CGear mat, it’ll stop the sand getting in the van and you’ll have no sand under your feet under the awning. We’ve used them for years, brilliant
