I love how he said about how conditioned to death people have become, "the world is trying to convince us that ours lives don't matter, everyone of our lives matter."

Funerals are horribly expensive. Body composting and green burials are the way of the future.

My word, if an opportunity like this existed when I was a young person I would have jumped at it. Sadly, these opportunities do not exist in this country where I live and it is filled with greedy corporates who care not one jot about these families. They employ foul mouthed, vile and heavily tattooed and scary people who just lean on you for as much money as they can get out of you. Vultures. People like this beautiful couple who obviously care so very much are a rare breed indeed. Best wishes to them for their future planning and their community who will come to realise what a gift they are to them all in their time of grief and need.

I went as cheap as I could. What is left after I die doesn’t matter. What a person was, who they were, how they lived their lives matters, but the shell/body does not. I opted for cremation and burial and that’s all. Still expensive. My family and I don’t care for traditional funerals. I said they could have a memorial service after if they want to. Leaving that up to them. Whatever they want. I’ve always had a horrible time attending the wakes and funerals. Not being a people person I’ve always found it exhausting attending those when you are grieving. Just want to off by myself or just with close family. People can send cards instead and I’m sure that is much easier for all concerned. Others may think differently but I believe you leave the body when you die. I’ve heard it said “Death is life’s last great adventure.” For the ones who want the traditional funeral may their families get people just like those in the video to care for the dearly departed and for the departed’s loved ones that are left. I’m sure they do an excellent job in helping people through the process with their calm personalities. Hopefully more people will come along who are interested in that type of employment.

Prior to seminary I worked with funeral homes & as a hospital orderly: most funeral homes today are owned by corporations & personal touch being lost. If you are near a seminary, you might contact them to see if they might have students interested in doing a quarter working with funeral directors: it would provide you with an avenue for help & deeply enrich their ability to minister at to dying & also with grieving families. It could be of mutual benefit.

Sadly seeing the rising costs of a funeral in modern day Egypt and slavery systems peoples not being able to afford their own funerals for a basic coffin and cremation of no services for just disposal of their bodies in costs over £4,000 and rising all costs added to the families of wanting people to have a service to a burial costs far more than crematorium fees. People need to realise that they born into slavery systems in their even denial of a dignified funeral ceremonies only for the richest families living in England churches themselves not being used for funeral ceremonies in its all about costs for the truth of funeral directors going out of business themselves in people having no life insurance and money to paying for their own funeral homes for themselves ending up with dead people in their unable to get funding to dispose of the bodies of understanding homeless people in drug addiction to elderly people who have nothing to rising numbers of people kept in cold storage systems for their families living not being able to paying themselves for their funeral homes for rising poverty rates for themselves under the world economy forum’s their causes people need to wake up to god’s people rules and regulations and laws that they have created for generations of slavery themselves creating themselves their own wealthy empires landowners and landlords and investment opportunities for generations and understanding Egypt and slavery of people practicing in ancient Egypt rituals and ceremonies festivals practices.
