Welcome to my apartment! In this video I show you around my JET Program apartment in the Japanese countryside. I've been living here for the last two years, and I think it's a pretty average JET apartment in terms of size, rent, etc. Hope this is useful!

Great editing. It really drew me. Your apartment reminds me so much of my old apartment back when I was a JET. I always remember my beloved, poorly insulted apartment that I heated in winter by running my dryer. Ah, memories ~ I think I'll sub. Your videos are really easy to watch and have a great pace.

I'm very late but sweet apartment!! Very informative and you speak very clear. Almost every video about Japanese apartments included the garbage situation. I wish the state's did it like that for environmental protection. Video was well executed and also enjoyable. Thank you and good day!! ✌

Is it bad these rural, kind of crappy apartments are like ideal to me? They just seem so neat. Viewing from an American perspective at least. I hope to get one of these when I apply for JET after graduation.

Which place in Japan has the lowest rent and the cheapest fruits, vegetables, and food in general? We don't need to be close to a train station since we work from home, but we do need to have the essentials (supermarket, ATM, pharmacy) within a 10-15 minute walking distance. Thank you and love your channel. :)

Hey! So this rent was scaled to my income as a public sector employee and is much lower than you'd likely find even if you were a full time worker in the country. That being said, I think you'll have the most luck finding reasonable prices in Kyushu or Tohoku.

@kk blue exactly... meaning they still filter you based on the education level. Yeah! live in japan with the B.As and have the 33% of the workforce do not have the full time jobs. Which is not the same as the u.s and in this case this country is not admirable. Why would I get B.As to experience the clusterphobic lifestyles in japan? I might practice it in my closet but the closets are for the clothes. Not for some weird people would come out of. I like the U.S much better.
