What a fun video! Thanks for uploading it! My mom was born in 1927 and was in a group with other kids/young teens who went around the country performing Swedish folk dances. I keep wondering if one of the girls in the shot of them walking out to perform is her. I don't think anyone in the 20th century wore their costumes on a daily basis...only for festivals, according to what my mom said....

If it was due to immigration, then countries like Germany would've also been high, which they are not. What a false picture of Sweden! These old folkloristic costumes were not worn other then on special occasions to celebrate historic moments. People were dressed in modern clothes in everyday life, just as in any other country!

Var någonstans bodde folk på soptippar på den tiden?
